I would rather eat a shite sandwich than listen to that screaming discount Dick Vitale / wannabe AM radio guy.
Whatever you feel about Clark, I guarantee you he wouldn’t open every morning telling everyone to get off his lawn & crying about how jorts aren’t cool anymore or something.
No idea why anyone would want to wake up to that — regardless of your political alignment.
Now having said that, you are definitely 50+ and probably either drive a King Ranch or own truck nuts.

TBob sounds like he is at a wake. He knows he can’t ride those coat tails any longer.

Yeah but maybe hold on to that shite til like after O was fired or something. The timing of this was poor with us needing a new DC and re-recruiting players to come back next year.
I get that it’s his job to break stories but I’m just fining it hard to come up with one positive thing from this, for the program and Jordy. Only bad propaganda and unrest amongst fans.
There’s a legit search and interview process this time. They effed up with Pelini and didn’t need this to realize that.
I disagree with you on several levels.
First, there is no reason that "O" should be shielded from this until he's fired. We ended up with one of the worst defenses in the country after he decided to forego the interview process and just picked a guy he knew, with no actual research in figuring out if Pelini was capable of running the style of defense that is needed to compete against modern offenses. He deserves to be called out, and I don't give a crap what recruits think. If this is how it's going to be, then we have bigger long term problems with Orgeron that need to be brought to light.
The unrest among fans is well earned. It might not be fun to you, but that's part of being the head coach of a big time program. You screw up, you feel the heat.
Also, I don't know how you can say "There’s a legit search and interview process this time. They effed up with Pelini and didn’t need this to realize that."
By all indications, there was no real "process" in hiring Peetz and Mangus. Orgeron just went to Brady, got a couple of recommendations, and the decision was up to those two coaches if they would accept the offer that they were about to receive. We'll see how they work out, but that was another case of making a very quick decision.
And as far as the DC search goes, Orgeron made another gaffe by talking about who his top targets were, and then whiffing on them. It's possibe that the only reason he's having to interview more than one, is because his guy turned him down. Either way, he messed up the optics on that, and now looks like a bit of a goof still searching half way through January.
If they realized that they screwed up with Pelini, it doesn't show much. And I say "they" because I'm including Woodward in this. He, as Athletic DIRECTOR is responsible to make sure there is due diligence on all hires. Obviously, he's going to defer to Orgeron on final decisions, but he's got to stay on top of making sure there is a legitimate process. I don't think it's meddling too much to have your coaches be more thorough. If it is, then I don't know why we need an AD. Accountants can handle the numbers, and just let the coaches do whatever.

No, he's not a traditional sport radio guy but that's a good thing. There's enough Matt Moscona's in the world

Seems like they either found out something they didn’t agree with in personal life or found out he was doing something in his professional that was in violation of his contract with them for his termination to be so abrupt.
That being said, the big boss man could just be trying to prove a point to all his talent. To be clear, I don’t think that’s Rush bc why thank him if he just canned you to prove a point.

Yea he did say it wasn’t anything to do with lsu coming down on him. Just weird timing and no clear reason on the surface.

24 pages and we still don’t know what actually happened? We need the OT sleuths on this. Someone on TD has to know Jordy

I’m pissed. This is bull shite.

You have to air those ads because they are already paid for
They will change them all up assuming those advertisers stay
I'm sure Guaranty is meeting with any and all Jordy clients as soon as possible

I really enjoy T-Bob as a secondary guy, but he’s awkward going to and coming from commercials, etc. Anytime he has to read something is just a little awkward.

Eman is a crazy person, I’ve never seen someone so convinced that the firing of a morning show host was a part of some grand conspiracy
Anyway the way t talked, didn’t sound mutual

Guaranty has a post on their FB page looking for their next morning co-host
Posted on 1/15/21 at 7:50 am to covtgr
Again, why so many conspiracy theorists?
It could have been a simple money situation.
Radio and TV guys operate on contracts. Often those contracts are not renewed, for whatever reason.
Does anybody know the details on Jordy's contract? It may have been up for renewal and Guaranty decided it didn't want to agree to what Culotta wanted.
I think that third hour of Off the Bench is a clue. Why wasn't Jordy doing that hour, if not for money reasons?
If I were Guaranty, I'd hire Ben Love away from 103.7 in Lafayette. He's a BR guy and I think was editor of Tiger Rag at one time. He does a great show in Lafayette.

Something went down though, that I’m sure of. Word on the street is it’s about $$ but the way it went down I’m not buying it. I’m still looking around though. As far as the spots with Jordy on them, all that content he produced is property of Guarantee Broadcasting so that could technically run forever. Happens all the time. Radio is a crazy world though, just when you think you’ve seen it all Seth Dunlap pulls that crap because he was in serious debt and looking for a big payday. If that came out this will eventually

Tbob talking about hot sauce and baseball cards lol just tell us why tf jordy got fired.
It wasn’t from lsu and it wasn’t contract-related cause he could have easily cleared that up on air this morning.

Was it because he admitted to a felonious hunting incident on air?

What other listening options are there from 7-10 am that cover LSU? I typically stream fox sports radio at 9 when Jordy leaves, but looking for some local coverage.
