Johnson wasn’t willing to give too much away regarding his starting rotation or lineup

The Advocate - We're just a day away from the start of LSU baseball season, and coach Jay Johnson has named his starting pitchers for Friday's game against VMI and Saturday's game with Central Arkansas. Beyond that, Johnson wasn't willing to give too much away, though the expectation is that the Tigers have perhaps the deepest and most-talented pitching staff in Johnson's first three seasons at The Box.
A lot fans looking forward to the opening of LSU’s baseball season.

I appreciate when others post nuggets as well. Almost everyone I talked to is going to LSU’s opener.

I was texted the article from The Advocate which they often do, but it wants you to pay to read it.

Thanks for copying part of it but why not post the entire text? I don't subscribe to that rag either so have a hard time reading it sometimes.
What I was referring to is the link that you edited in is a link from nola.com posted in 2020 about the football front office.
ETA: There was a link way down on that page that redirected me to the Advocate article by Koki. Here's an excerpt:

Jay Johnson reveals Friday, Saturday opening weekend starting pitchers for LSU baseball
LSU baseball junior right-handed pitcher Thatcher Hurd will start Opening Day on Friday for the Tigers against VMI, coach Jay Johnson announced on Wednesday.
Johnson also revealed that Alabama transfer and junior right-handed pitcher Luke Holman will start LSU's second game of the season against Central Arkansas.
Starting pitchers for Sunday's game against VMI and Monday's matchup vs. Central Arkansas have yet to be determined, Johnson said.
Junior left-handed pitcher and UCLA transfer Gage Jump, a potential starter for the Tigers, has not pitched much during in LSU's scrimmages over the last few weeks.
Jump is returning to the field this season after having missed the last year and a half due to Tommy John surgery.
"We get players ready for the season in different ways sometimes. That's what we're doing" Johnson said. "Coming off the history, we're always going to take care of the players."
First pitch for Friday's season opener at Alex Box Stadium is set for 2 p.m.

I thought coming in that Jay would be more analytics based.
After observing last year he is definitely more of a feel & intuition guy.
That said, no telling what his lineup is going to be. Outside of White & Travinski there are a ton of similar options to fill different spots.
Same can be said for pitching. It is built to be super flexible, tho definitely left handed heavy.

Another goddamn useless thread from one of the two experts at starting them.
