I don’t know why anyone still puts any stock into these scrimmages.

Yep. Before Brennan’s injury, He was the worst thing since Jordan Jefferson and Max needed to start because he was the Chosen One and would lead us to heights the 2019 team couldn’t even dream of.
Now that Max is #1, well, he’s not really that good and we really need to roll with Nuss.

We’re lucky to have Nussmeier as our backup. I hope he gets a lot of snaps this year when the games are out of reach for our opponents.

Nuss has the it factor. His swagger and confidence will carry that cannon arm to great heights. He will see significant time this year.

You guys act like Max has been at the helm for years the kid started a few games. We had no camp last year and Nuss went through the entire off season program. I’m not saying he should start but really it’s not a stretch to say he could be better.
From what people are saying he is even a better scrambler and has a superior arm. So how is this so far fetched?

Well, Max Johnson is not a true #1 and his ability and upside is limited. I do think there will be some rude awakening to this fanbase
