That's a perfect example of why Governors should maintain a safe distance from the athletic program as it's not fair to the program, the team, the university or the fans when favoritism and good old boy politics enables incompetence and poor quality of work to be swept under the rug.
The only time a Governor should make his presence known in the athletics program is when there is clear incompetence and a complete lack of leadership like what we're seeing with F King and Alleva and JBE has done nothing at all to date to remove them.

John, as another poster pointed out, gets up in the a.m. measuring which way the wind blows. He's all about himself.
Researches and rehearses his little country boy sayings in order to make him look like most of us yet he's an Ivy Leaguer who reminds me of the carpetbagger who came down after the war to take advantage.
He'll prove himself to all you lovers of his but he is as phony as the day is long.

Big mistake by Ed Orgeron. Will definitely comes back to haunt him. But I don't think he really cares. But I'll say one thing.......he'd better beat Bama next season. In fact he'd better sweep it all.

There are many Republicans that support JBE. Sen. Kennedy needs to worry much more about the process in Washington than who the Coach at LSU supports for Governor.
