Alleva will probably give him a raise & add a year to guarantee as Coach O probably had his agent go bump into Ole Miss AD to make Alleva think they had a meeting.

I am glad when LSU wins, but that will never change my opinion that Orgeron is a thug cheating backstabbing immature piece of cr@p trash & the wrong hire especially for the price & guarantee, and until LSU was supposedly his dream job he did what he could to hurt LSU except for when he became head coach at Ole Miss.

I hope we win rest of our games, but at some point I hope orgeron dupes some other AD into hiring him or he violates a just cause clause that doesn’t directly hurt LSU but gets fired without getting guarantee. I really hope his contract is not ever extended.

I have always loved LSU regardless of liking or not liking the football head coach, the AD, or President of LSU system (or chancellor in past) just like I love my country regardless of who is President.

Some here just take more enjoyment in putting down those on message boards for not liking the coach than in the enjoyment of the victory with all fans.

Really has to be seen as a feather in his cap. He was right and a lot of us were wrong.

Ole Miss is awful. Now if LSU competes against *gasp* Alabama and does the unthinkable and somehow pulls the game out of the fire, then we'll revisit the "great hire" paradigm.

Very proud of the team and coaching staff for turning this season around.

However, If you don’t think Alleva needs to be Shown the door at this point, I don’t know what to tell you. His track record of emotionally-unstable decisions at LSU are well-documented, and his firing is absolutely warranted and needs to happen ASAP. Alleva has lost the support of his constituents, he is basically a lame-duck AD at this point.

As for Orgeron, Even those of us that don’t think O is the long-term answer at LSU are willing to see how O plays out this season and beyond before making a final evaluation/determination of O as head coach. There’s no point in coming to a decision/opinion on O while Alleva is still the AD anyway.

do you people just look at the number of losses and not actually pay any attention to anything else?

all of Jimbo's losses except Louisville are to top 15 teams. All but the Bama game have been by 1 score.
and hes doing this with a true freshman backup QB.

that's not the same as a 30 point shellacking by a bad Miss St team and a loss to a sunbelt team.

Hell, he hung better with Bama than we did with Mississippi State.

Where the hell do you people come from?

We just beat Ole Miss. A team we all chalked up as a W at the beginning of the season.

We still lost to fricking Troy, and got obliterated by a bad Miss St team. We'll most likely lose to Bama, then who knows for the final 3 games.

How you people can make these asinine claims with 4 games left to play is beyond me.

It's impossible to say what Herman would do with this team. Imagine if coach O was at Texas. Do you think they even win a game?
