I don't think Fedora is special at all
I don't think Jimbo is a bad coach at all but its been a bit disappointing in how he has finished out games this year. Two losses literally at the last second. They really really miss their star QB who was injured. I think Jimbo does have the benefit of the doubt since he has had success for many years and has shown he does know what he is doing.
As far as herman, I don't understand the ridicule for him. Yes he is 3-3 but Texas definitely is trending the right direction in his first year, they look like a completely different team. Defense after an abortion week one look fantastic now. Texas has had losing seasons the last few years and took OU and OSU down to the wire in heartbreaking losses. Tom is doing a really good job with Texas, they will be back quickly if this season is truly an indication. Recruiting is top notch as of now too. Its a bit absurd with the herman bashing. UT was a train wreck when he took over. If UT wants herman to succeed, the administration really needs to continue to back off, they are part at fault on why the program is a wreck

Texas has had 3 straight losing seasons. The have some talented players but they aren't near as talented as what you think they are. The conference isn't special but there are some pretty decent teams in it. TCU, OU, OSU, Iowa State aren't bad teams at all. I am not a UT fan but its a bit absurd to act like he plays rent a wins every week, is BS

The fact we have some crowing bout LSU being 6-2 with a beat down at Miss. St., and a home L to a freaking SBC Troy, and a #23 national ranking going to Bama, only speaks to how far the fan expectation level has dropped from past seasons.
