From the reports that are floating around out there, it seems that Wade was the driving force behind his hiring, not a result of one of Joe's patented searches. So, Joe's record is still intact.

Alleva needs to go no matter what happens.
As far as expectations, it’s simple. Miles was fired basically for falling off his 10-win season average, to about 9 wins a season. He never lost more than 4 games in a regular season.
So O is expected to win 10+. You get fired for averaging about 9. I wouldn’t be crowing over 6-2 before Bama if I were you.

I some what agree. Being what was available it turned out pretty well. I hate to admit that I wanted coach kissie face. I did like Fleck though he never seemed to be a serious consideration. I did prefer O to Jimbo. Team is really starting to come together and fans really need to coach O a chance before denigrating him. He has only been HC for about 10 or 12 games now and has done a fairly good job so far and team is only getting better. I just don't get why some of these so called fans are so eager to see him fail. It's not good for recruiting or team morale for so many fans to be pulling against them.

true but you have to take into consideration the obstacles this team has faced and is overcoming. Tremendous lack of depth, injuries, suspensions in the trenches on both sides of the ball combined with having to play a lot of freshman certainly hurt this team. What I like aobut this team is their grittiness and never give up attitude, a strong reflection of their coach.

We do have a bunch of pussy arse fans, a bunch of quitters. But this team is a gritty bunch and while LSU will be way out manned by bama they will still not back down. They may get blown out but will not go down with out a fight. Wouldn't be shocked if they some how pull out a win. Just the type team they have become
