I disagree.

We were up 33-13 at the half.
Nope.
With 30s left, we were up 27-13.

A Bama band member heard all of that from behind the bench when everyone was going crazy?? He must have had a cup with a string attached to Joe's mouth and his ear.

Man, he must’ve been sitting real close to the bench to hear that entire conversation.

My stories from watching the game at Tilted Kilt just of the Strip in Vegas aren’t that good, but more cleavage was involved.

Well, the band was on the field in the corner of the endzone where Clyde scored that TD and Moss was right there with him.

Verdict;

LSU Alabama look at 1:21.03 mark

Evidence it happened...Part of the Bama band was standing behind the bench...

This never happened. Highly unlikely he would hear what they were saying, and the wording is contrived.

I don't really believe this story.

1. how fricking close is this guy? Come one

Band member lining up for half time he was probably almost on the bench.

quote:

2. Burrow never lacked confidence and he never would have said we could lose. He was pointing at his ring finger with a full quarter to go against Clemson.

Actually sounds just like Burrow to me. He was all business. I never saw him get rattled either year he was here. The finger point to his ring finger was the only time I saw him push the envelope of premature celebration. I agree he was very confident and even cocky about it later on in the season.

I went to that game and I would attest the story if I saw it but I went to the pisser right after the TD just before the Queen Int and CEH TD so I missed it!

You have clearly never been to any road games. At Florida, if you gets tickets from LSU you sit right behind the bench. So close to the players and field can hear them talking and screaming easily. Grow up and enjoy his story. No need to be a pric!

I doubt those were the words said.

It’s just a Bama fan trying yet again to make a victory over Bama sound like a compliment to Bama. Most passive aggressive fan base on planet earth.

As someone who’s in the ND band, you get unusually close to the players behind the sideline. It doesn’t surprise me that he could’ve heard that happen

That late 60 early 70 y/o bama fan sure looked defeated. He was even bobbing to our band Tiger chant.
