Joe Burrow Gives his LSU Mount Rushmore

Unconventional as most always with Joe. But can’t blame an Ohio guy for not knowing deeper tradition. Can’t take any of this seriously as it’s an off the wall question and he just went off the cuff.

Host already included Joe himself. So looks like we’re going to need a bigger mountain for Joe, ha.
Clearly to me you have Cannon & Faulk. The other 2 can go so many different ways, pending criteria and how old you are. If one has to be a coach, then that could get really spicy with our history. I’d probably go Casanova and Dorsey to finish my 4. Burrow only here 2 years makes it hard for me, but damn 2019 is so hard to ignore.

If it's just football, it's Burrow, Daniels, Cannon and then your 4th is going to depend on when you grew up and got into college football. For me it's Faulk.
I just can't leave off Heisman trophy winners, but at the same time it does feel like a slap in the face to those in previous eras who were fully committed to their program for the long haul.

Billy Cannon, Tommy Casanova and Joe Burrow are three that must be there.
Kevin Faulk is a good number 4 because he was a 3x first team all-SEC like Casanova, but Tommy was also a 2x All-American back when we rarely had players recognized nationally.
For an LSU Mr Rushmore, it has to be for what they did while at LSU. Joe’s 2019 season is enough for him to get in.

Nobody ever mentions Charles Alexander. He ran for a ton of yards back before LSU had discovered the merits of having a passing game. Which meant, of course, that defenses could focus on stopping LSU's running game.

All I know is Dorsey is not on the list. Great player but people like to put him on there to not be obvious. Marcus Spears/Lavalais could be on there if you do dorsey
