Must suck watching the coach O of baseball send your punk arse team home from Omaha. How many HRs did yall hit in that real ball park? I’ll wait!

Must suck even more watching LSU hold up another championship in another sport. Last time Tennessee fans had anything to cheer about, you were probably still swimming around in your daddy’s beanbag

It’s one thing for Lsu fans to complain about sub par baseball performances. Tennessee fans lecturing Lsu about it is just amusing at best. They have no history of winning and are talking to fans of arguably the premier program over the last 25-30 years. The same program that bounced them from Omaha last year en route to title 7. I hope Johnson figures this out, but to have vol fans chiming in is something else.

He is no longer in the Pac12 playing mediocre teams. He spent his career playing in a league not near as good as the SEC. He is the #1 reason why LSU is having this type of season. He is in charge of recruiting, player development, and making the lineup cards. The players he won the title with was from a previous coaching staff with the exception of Skenes. Can he sustain it in the SEC? Right now he’s starting to look like the coach O of baseball.

Agree 1000%%%%%!!!!

Just ashamed yall won’t even have a chance to get there this year. The Vols will be looking to get back to Omaha for the 3rd time in 4 years. You have to remember that Vitello is only in his 6th year as a HC, while it took JJ 11 years and someone else’s players to win the national title. Vitello is well on his way! Wanna bet that Vitello will be more successful than JJ by time Vitello has been a HC for 11 years?

Just because the Vols don’t have any baseball championships, they still have more championships combined in the 4 major sports(MBB, WBB, Baseball, Football), than LSU. So we are no stranger to the national titles. Also, Vitello is in his 6th year as a HC. He hasn’t been a HC like JJ for 12 years.

As soon as you have runners on 3rd and less than 2 outs. When Holman was on the mound, everyone in Knoxville was worried. He had only given up 1 hit the entire game, and all of sudden JJ does Tennessee a favor and takes him out. Im not a college coach, but I would have trusted Holman to get out of the inning. Yes he was at 91 pitches, but with todays training and advancement in recovery, pitchers are going 100+ more now than ever.

He is a year removed from a national title, leading an SEC team, idiot.

the SEC a tougher conference than the PAC 12?

In baseball when he was at Arizona? Maybe, but the gap isn't as wide as you think.

College baseball is weird. The sec won the last 3 but the MS schools winning was kinda wild.

The P12 has historically been in it though.

He beat yalls arse in Omaha last year.

You're talking a ton of shite for a program that's largely irrelevant in college baseball history.

Most of you people were crying about Maineri's recruiting before he left. Now it's Johnson's recruiting. Rinse, repeat.

Well you realize if we feel like it we will just buy your coach if JJ doesn’t work out.

Missed on some? I’d say he missed on a lot.

Go back and look at dates -- date of his hire, signing period of his 1st class.
Do you think its really like ordering off Amazon to get players to show up? Come on..
Johnson has absolutely made mistakes this year. No doubt and he needs to be help accountable for those but to suggest Jay isn't a very, very good coach is just not even close to being fair. Maneri left him with a complete disaster of a roster. We were way overmatched during Maneri's last two years, recruiting slide big time on the back end of Maneri's career.
Go pull up the rosters of Maneri's last 2 years... Whew, tough times
