If Jimbo, with all his success as a HC and OC at different schools is very average, then what the hell is O with his massive fail at Mississippi and very modest success at LSU?

Anyone not concerned with the idea of Jimbo on one side and Saban on the other is showing their retard level and that's not fear but common sense.

What has Jimbo done that Miles hasn't? Did you want to keep Miles?

Quick question: do you think Jimbo Fisher has only recruited locally during his time at Fla. St?

Yep, disrupts their recruiting and Jimbo is damaged goods, I give it 3 years.

He's not the coach of A&M.

He will be. Great job Alleva

A&M is a lot like LSU was before Saban arrived here. They have the money, talent pool, and fan support. The only thing different is they have much much better facilities than we did before Saban came. With the right coach A&M can be a serious contender and you are a fool if you don't believe that. One REALLY BIG difference. Texas A&M has to compete with Texas, and 3 other Texas schools in the Big 12. LSU has the luxury of owning the state. That's what Saban saw as the "sleeping giant".

The only thing that really worries me is how Fisher is going to hurt our recruiting efforts in Texas, mainly in the Houston area.

so is most every other head coach in the country.
But Jimbo has had success with multiple QBs, including a freshman in 2016.
Jimbo's far, far above average, certainly among the top 10 HCs.

Jimbo has been recruiting his arse off for Florida St every year and they are 5-6. You can’t mention him and Saban in the same sentence.
O is about to win 10 games with Danny freaking Etling at QB and 2 -3 true freshman starting on the Oline, that is not modest, you’re just a hater

you can't look at a snapshot, because Jimbo has a longer body of work.
Yes, this year for FSU has been a disaster, but they played Bama very tight until their QB went down, and they've struggled with their freshman replacement.
Given Jimbo's years of sustained success, I give him a pass this year. Now if the decline continues another year or two, then that signals a bigger problem.

Hell i hope he does and we'll still beat that arse.

I get what you are saying , but has a7m not gotten good recruits? They have signed many 5 Star qb’s and good receivers, linemen, and lb’s.
Has Lsu benefitted from Jimbo not being there and swaying 5 Star qb’s to Lsu? Nope!
So what difference does it make? a7m wasn’t struggling with getting recruits.
I swear that some of you are so afraid of this guy that you think Lsu will end up with 2 Star scraps and that Fisher is about to win 6 championships in a row.

I could not agree more.
But watch how much melt and butt hurt happens on TD when Jimbo is announced as aTm coach.
frick Jimbo.
