JD is going to be the QB for the rest of the year

I know a lot of people want Nuss to get a shot but Kelly is not folding to fan pressure. He has damn near a decade still under contract. He doesn’t have to start caving to fan demands until year 5 or 6. If he didn’t make the change this offseason he’s not making it mid season. Buckle up and let’s hope we can get everything else cleaned up. But barring an injury Daniels is going to be the QB.

Not if he keeps running recklessly like he did last night. He will get hurt eventually with his style of play and then guess what..... here comes Nuss.

Kelly is going to find out fast that this isn’t ND. LSU will fire him way before year 5 if things continue and his unwillingness to make changes will be the reason.

And it will be wasted year then, because at least if LSU doesn’t make the playoffs or win the West, you have the development of our further QB. But based on your scenario, they are eating throat opportunity to keep JD happy.

It has nothing to do with fan pressure. BK plays JD because he believes JD gives us best chance to win. If the game outcome shows other wise he will make a change.

Then BK is an idiot and he’s letting his pride get in the way of changing QB’s. It’s almost like making the change would invalidate him bringing JD in as a transfer. JD does nothing to make the players around him better. He’s a playground QB. QB’s with his elusive skill set use that skill set to get others the ball, not tuck it and run every time the pocket breaks down. What’s also telling is the lack of a passing game between the hash marks down field. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it. Just image being a defense trying to gameplan against a team like LSU knowing anything past 10-20 yards downfield is something you don’t have to worry about?

Yes just about every coach does lol. They have massive egos and usually wait way too long to admit they messed up

I don’t think lsu can afford to fire him way sooner than year 5. That contract is massive
