You sure about that? Jayden actually leads in every category except PPG and total yards on the season. But he's averaging more yards per game. He won't top Joe in total yards simply because he'll have fewer games played.

Jayden is having an historic season.

Joe Burrow played a murderer’s row schedule and LSU was still often playing with their foot off the gas pedal in most 2nd halves due to being up by so many points.

Jayden might average more yards per game, but Joe could have very easily averaged another 100 yards per game, thrown another TD or 2 per game, etc. 2 games that come to mind are the Semi final against Oklahoma and Sr Night against A&M. Both games were over immediately and that directly impacted Burrow from not accumulating more stats. And those weren’t the only games that happened during that season.

Know what the word 'literally' means and how to use it properly. Thank you for your cooperation.

More total yards yes but not passing yards per game. What Joe did from a passing standpoint was just ridiculous. He had 65 Total Touchdowns in 15 games for average of 4.33 Touchdowns per game. Jayden Daniels has 38 Total touchdowns in 10 games for an average of 3.8 Touchdowns per game. Jayden averaging 316.4 yds per game throwing. Joe averaged 378.1 yds per game.

Jayden is having a fantastic and historic season but Joe's 2019 season is the single best season in College Football history. I hope Jayden wins the Heisman because he deserves it but as good as this season is its not on par with Joe's 2019 season.

You’ve factored in a 15-0 full season for JB. We’re still 2 reg season games out + a bowl game baw

You guys are forgetting Joe came out in the 4th quarter for a lot of his games.

Very true. If they’d have left him in against OU he’d have another 300 and 4 more TDs

Through this point of the season it absolutely is on par with Burrow in 2019. It’s okay to admit.

Matt House has to be fired for this. Shouldn't even be a discussion. Jayden should have it locked up

Joe averaged nearly 4 more plays per game (passing and rushing attempts) than Daniels is averaging…

I don’t know that this is the appropriate place for a grammar lesson, but the word is literally used too often, and mostly wrong. For that literal reason, I try to avoid it altogether.

Nah, seven games in which they might have taken their foot off the gas, as opposed to five for JD if they manhandle Georgia State. And in none of these 12 games did anybody take their foot off the gas in the third quarter. So you are talking two or three quarters of production difference. And Joe had two more games than Jayden.

Very true, but meaningless. Ten rushing yards is a first down, too.

You used it wrong here, too. Your sentence is not the least bit confusing without the word “literal”, therefore don’t use it.

4 of those(including Joe) had 2 games after the Heisman ceremony too. So these stats have 2 games worth of stats that weren’t available when voting happened.

Through ten games Joe had 38 passing Touchdowns and 3 rushing touchdowns for a total of 41. Jayden has 38 touchdowns. Joe had 3,687 passing yds, Jayden has 3,164. Joe had 255 rushing yds to Jayden's 918 rushing yds. Total yds Joe had 3,942 to Jayden's 4,082. So yes Jayden has 140 more yds through 10 games but he has 3 less touchdowns.

Joe only had 1 game through 10 games where they failed to score 30 points and averaged 47.8 points per game through 10 games. Jayden has 2 games where we failed to score 30 points in a game and averaging 45.9 points per game.

Again Jayden is having a fantastic and historic season and the second best season in LSU history but its not on par with Joe's. Mainly because part of what made Joe's season the best in College Football history is how he ended the season the last 3 games (SEC Championship, Playoff Semi Final, and National Championship game) with 18 total touchdowns (16 passing and 2 rushing) and zero turnovers.
