auburn is 32nd in the country in scoring and we dropped 48 on them.

Missouri is 45th in the country and we dropped 49 on them

not to mention we had over 450
in total offense in both those games and obviously missing the end of the bama game where we had 2 more possessions.

Through ten games Joe had 38 passing Touchdowns and 3 rushing touchdowns for a total of 41. Jayden has 38 touchdowns. Joe had 3,687 passing yds, Jayden has 3,164. Joe had 255 rushing yds to Jayden's 918 rushing yds. Total yds Joe had 3,942 to Jayden's 4,082. So yes Jayden has 140 more yds through 10 games but he has 3 less touchdowns.

Joe averaged 41.6 plays per game during those 10 games. Daniels is averaging 38.7 plays per game.

Joe only had 1 game through 10 games where they failed to score 30 points and averaged 47.8 points per game through 10 games. Jayden has 2 games where we failed to score 30 points in a game and averaging 45.9 points per game.
Daniels gor knocked out Vs Bama, or he would have at least got to 35 there. Versus FSU, we kick 2 FGs instead of going for 4th downs and we still lose, but it's 30-45. We were also without our top 4 running backs in that game. Don't think Burrow ever had to deal with anything like that.

Again Jayden is having a fantastic and historic season and the second best season in LSU history but its not on par with Joe's. Mainly because part of what made Joe's season the best in College Football history is how he ended the season the last 3 games (SEC Championship, Playoff Semi Final, and National Championship game) with 18 total touchdowns (16 passing and 2 rushing) and zero turnovers.

I can agree that he had the best 3 game stretch, when it mattered most, I have ever seen and likely will ever see. However, going off pure effectiveness, Daniels averages more yards per play than Burrow and is behind Burrow by only 0.78 plays per touchdown.

He's essentially Burrow

I don't deal in IFs. Those are losing arguments you can play the what if game for Burrow as well. We deal in what actually happened and what they have done. Marshall also missed multiple games when he was leading the team in Touchdowns. Chase missed 1 game. Daniels has had his top 3 receivers for every game.

You're being misleading. Joe didn't average 41.6 plays per game. Thats Burrows combined rushing and passing attempts.

Again as I have said now multiple times you cannot go off pure yds per game otherwise Haskins would also have a claim to "One of the greatest seasons in College Football History." Two second halves against Texas and Bama our defense could not stop their offense and it was our offense that responded by continuing to score to not allow either team to have the ball with the opportunity to tie/win the game.

Daniels in those situations unfortunately against FSU, Ole Miss, and Bama had opportunities to continue go score for score and did not. Again we would not be in the games this year if not for his Superman like performance and is the second best in LSU history but is not on the level as Burrow's 2019.

You sure about that? Jayden actually leads in every category except PPG and total yards on the season. But he's averaging more yards per game. He won't top Joe in total yards simply because he'll have fewer games played.

Against? Again, look at the defensive rankings of the opponents.
Burrow beat 3 of the top 7 defenses in UGA, Clemson, and UF (look up their pass defensive rankings before and after Burrow got them. The other 2 in Bama and Auburn were Top 17. Then there were other teams that were really good.

In 2023 LSU has played 2 teams in the Top 20 with Bama at 15 and FSU at 17.

Others were
Auburn at 31
Army at 44
TAMU is at 30 (to be played)

Jayden is having an historic season.
agree

We can agree that the LSU defense improved over the last month. This has been well documented. So how good were they really? They ended up at 31 for the season. They were not that great in the grand scheme of things as we know LSU defenses. Some of it had to do with how good the offense was to some extent. BUT they were not barn burners for damn sure.

Through this point of the season it absolutely is on par with Burrow in 2019. It’s okay to admit.

Except the competition level defensively…

AND DO NOT MAKE A ROOKIE MISTAKE AND LOOK AT END OF YEAR STATS FOR THE 2019 TEAMS LSU BEAT. For example, UF was top 3, including an incredibly good pass defense and he shredded them for 42 and was nearly perfect. It is about the WHO and WHAT. His game was elevated to a different level against those teams. Hell he was at nearly 80% completion percentage until the last game or 2. That’s stupid.

It was a joke, dude. Lord!

Sorry, I’m traumatized by the use of that word.
