so have denbrock only call short shite that JD5 can throw? give up on intermediate and deep stuff! GENIUS! you really want to see the run game and pass Game get shut down let the other side know you do not even intend on trying anything else.

That’s the biggest problem. Denbrock wants to push the ball downfield and JD doesn’t fit the scheme. If you prioritized the run game and put him in short conversion situations he’s fine. What happens when we struggle is we’re throwing on 1st down all the time and throwing too much. All anyone has to do is look at our better performances to see the formula. We just didn’t stick to it because that’s not what our OC likes to do.

Well, he certainly won’t in ‘23 as he announced he’s coming back to Oregon for his final season.

So you like stats unless they show the defense had every bit to do with the win as Jaydens.

For the record. I believe he is the starter next season. I hope he can improve on the "few" things he needs to, in order to become elite.

I'm hopeful for him. Dude came from a crap conference to the SEC. He has chest.

Outside of all that y'all smell like waycist so

He could easily jump all but maybe 3 of those guys.

Nix, Milton, Travis, Jefferson, McCord and maybe Penix.

Think about Daniels if he played a full season as good as his good games would really jump a lot of those guys.

He’s NOT going to suddenly process things faster and learn to let the ball go when he should. How many college starts does he have? We have elite receivers and he refuses to give them an opportunity to beat teams. It’s frustrating, and Denbrock took a lot of flack, when at least some of the lack of production was due to JD’s limitations as a passer.

Then the defense walks up and takes the run game away because you show no threat of deep or intermediate passing. Totally limits the utilization of the talents and limits the offense.

Just out of pure curiosity where was joe burrow before his senior year in terms of projected draft stock? Wasn’t he close to 6th round? And they had a couple good QBs in that same draft.

Joe had only been a starter for 1 season at that point. Daniels has been starting for 4 years....his skillset is not a question mark. There's tons of film on him and there wasn't as much as Joe.

You’re gonna repost that I said if we put the ball in Burrows hands and let him throw it 35-45 times we’d win the SEC? I doubt it, people like you prefer spin while ignoring 99% of the comments that don’t fit your angle.

That’s by far the dumbest thing y’all keep going with. The dude was in a whole new system. Relax lol. The dude easily can be a late first rounder if he improves. Y’all think the dude won’t improve at all. Hate to break it to the tRant but a year can make quite a difference. Doesn’t matter if you’re a 5th year starter or a 1 year starter. If you commit yourself to making progress in the off-season then the kid will improve.

JB was no where near the draft status he obtained after year one.
That is just one example.
But you seem to know how it all plays out so what does it matter. He won't improve much and won't go higher than Bo Nix.
Alrighty then

Yes and JB won the Heisman in year 2. Daniels has been starting for 4 years.

Can’t wait for Daniels to go 15-0, win the Heisman and set every record in college football next season. I’m going to congratulate every one of you on being so prophetic and intelligent.
