Jayden Daniels will be the No 1 pick in the NFL Draft

Just want to be the first to say it.
I do believe it though. Here’s my line of thinking.
1.) Caleb Williams refuses to play behind his offensive line and has had a subpar junior year. He’s dropping already. Still top 5 but dropping for sure.
2.) Jayden will test of the charts at the combine. Anthony Richardson jumped upto the number four pick off of workout and upside alone.
3.) Daniels tape vs Alabama both years is unparalleled. That carries weight in the nfl conversations. What did you do against Bama.
4.) Jayden still has room for growth. Can put on another 15-20 pounds.

Never seen that NC kid play, but JD is no worse than top 3 at QB. Top 10 lock.

Would you be willing to put money on it?
How many mock drafts have you seen with him not going #1 or #2?

In what round? Cause it’s not the first. Maybe the 2nd or 3rd?

I win $10,0000 if so. I put $100 on 100:1 odds. I can't see Caleb Williams are Drake Maye making a better NFL QB. I think he's like a #10-15 pick right now but it'll skyrocket as people start to get more serious/NFL teams about who the actual best QB is because Drake Maye and Caleb Williams sure as hell aren't better qbs than Jayden

i mean its a far cry but with how Richardson jumped last year, never say never

I agree with what you say should happen , but I dont beleive it will.
Williams is seen as can't miss due to the arm talent and mobility. But he has absolutely created some horrible tendencies, that will get him killed in the NFL. He tries to extend every single play and make everything 50 yd tds. Watching him play in like 5 games this year, he waits for pocket to break down vs even trying to go through any progressions half the time.
Whereas daniels has showed to improve on every passing level, especially from the pocket going through his progressions. And daniels has shown to be even more explosive then Williams in the run game.
Williams arm talent is naturally better, but with how they've both looked this year, and progression y/y, give me daniels. Never thought I'd say that.

Richardson is 35 pounds bigger and got hurt in almost every game he played this year. Running quarterbacks do not do well long term in the NFL.

He won't be, but that doesn't mean he won't be the best QB.

Why is it that so many LSU fans
Cannot see what they are looking at
In real time

Daniels and Richardson are very different players. One is a much better passer and it’s not Richardson.

Correct. Daniels is a much better quarterback. But part of the appeal of both of them is that they can run. The Colts hoped that Richardson with his frame could stand up to the punishment in the NFL. He couldn't. Posters were talking about Richardson moving up in the draft and the biggest part of that was his ability to run and his large frame. Daniels is much smaller. But if people want to start taking bets on if Jayden will be the first pick or not, I dont mind winning some money.

Lol not even close but thanks for playing

I hope not, because the Bears… S’cuse me… Da Bares, are an arse organization.
Give me a mid round team that needs it like the Pats.

I clicked on this thread just to see the up/down votes.
Most Tiger fans aren't as delusional as I was predicting.

Probably not. But...if he does a 4.2 forty, then maybe.
