I don’t agree that he ran his mouth, but I liked when he closed the idea of coaching anywhere else completely.

Hopefully someone can provide the link of what he said. Maybe they already have by the time of this reply.

I’m honestly torn on this. I want more consistency, but on the other hand look at DVH at Arky a consistent winner year in and out who can’t get over the hump.

LSU is closer to winning 3 of the last 3 than not winning last year.

Again, I really liked LSU to win it all in 2024 if Jake Brown makes that catch.

They were gonna host a Super with elite pitchers in Holman and Jump. They likely were in Omaha 3 straight years at the least.

Good for him. Completely tanked a season with some great players to scrounge up a few extra hundred thousand dollars for future teams instead of grinding like all the other coaches and getting legit NIL opportunities for his players.

He didn’t do that, you can be upset about the season and not make things up

He didn’t threaten anything
Heck he didn’t even bring up the subject
The interviewer brought it up

If two championships isn’t elite, what is?

Lack of funds shouldn’t make you the worst team in the SEC

It’s a badly coached team.

LSU was a catch away from likely 3 straight Omaha trips. I think they can have one really down season. Pretty sure Arkansas would happily trade places with LSU.

I remember some Jay Johnson critics saying they would take DVH over him. And then he won a 2nd championship.
I feel like too many LSU fans are discrediting what Jay has accomplished. I am still most impressed by what he did in year one with SPs like Hilliard and Money? He won like 17 SEC games?

You’re emotional in the immediate aftermath, I get it. That’s when we get these revisionist threads.

And a breath away from getting bounced out of our home regional by UALR if you want to play the "what if" game.

It was a completely unforced error to threaten a jump to the major leagues midseason. Complete brain dead nonsense that completely torpedoed whatever chance this team had.

He didn't. The dumbass fans that wanted to shut down basketball programs for baseball did it.

The things you idiots dream up in your heads, smh. Y’all are comical. He was asked a question and he responded. I hardly think that’s “running his mouth”. And it wasn’t a threat as some others apparently perceived.

He led off that he has zero interest in it at this time. After being questioned. What about that is a threat?

You do if you interpreted anything he said as any sort of threat.

Bruh
I watched the video
There’s no threat involved
So tell me what he did??

Threaten - definition
“It can be used in a few common ways:

* Directly: to say you will harm someone
Example: “He threatened to call the police.”
* Indirectly: to suggest something bad might happen
Example: “Dark clouds threatened a storm.”
* Figuratively: to indicate risk or danger
Example: “Pollution threatens wildlife.”
