Another coincidence, people complaining about Jay only winning the CWS with top 5 pick pitchers. Tony V dint even make it last year with a top 5 pitcher. He must be a bad coach.

so we were down multiple runs in the bottom of the 8th or 9th in the regional championship game? that is close to losing.
losing a game to UALR does not mean we were close to losing the regional. nor does being down a few runs early in the next game being the championship of the regional.

Spoiled fan! I love LSU to death but I’m realistic! It’s hard to win in baseball! Dave Van Horn has had great teams in Omaha and hasn’t done it! It’s hard enough just to get to Omaha! Our coach has been to the title game 3 times. He has won the past 2 out of 3 championships! You have teams that are starting to pour money in baseball because that is the only realistic chance they have to bring a national championship to their school. It’s not easy out there even if you are LSU…but some of you want to hammer our coach for a bad portal year when those players were legit coming here. They just aren’t that good but I’m sorry, you not gonna get the best out there every year. Other teams are willing to pay too.
