Four baseball scrimmages in the fall.

NCAA changed the rules - you can have up to 4 scrimmages against outside opponents

Jay mentioned. The best SS in the portal was going to come to LSU until the best SS in the country decided to return to LSU. Anyone know who that would have been? Garcia, Laskofski?

Garcia committed to Texas within like hours of the portal opening, so I doubt it's him. Laskofski was one my favorite guys in the portal, but i'm not sure if he visited us. I don't know how interested he was in leaving that ACC region.

Just curious of what company Milam would be amongst in that group.

He might have been referring to Dawson Park and just phrased it oddly

I'm pretty sure he meant Dawson Park and was saying like he needed Milam to tell him so that he could talk over playing a different position with Park

I seem to remember Jason Williams started at 3B in 93 and SS in 96
Mike Koerner was the CF in 96 and 97
Rios was CF in 91 and 93
Furniss started in 96 and 97 as well, DH and 1B

My guess is there are several who started and won multiple nattys. Not sure if we've had a SS start for multiple championship teams.
