new info: Investigators were able to access some of his search history from late Christmas night in 2022 (after the murders). They found late at night and into the early morning he was browsing an old website containing profiles about popular serial killers. The website downloaded a file onto his computer everytime he opened a profile. He only opened one profile twice: Danny Rolling.

Interesting info about Danny Rolling: born in Shreveport. Murdered 5 college students in 1990, all using a Ka-Bar knife. The same as Kohberger used. He killed 4 young college-aged women, and one man. Also, before his trial commenced he surprisingly plead guilty to all charges. Interesting similarities.
Don't think Quad Wilson is on the team anymore

Fascination with serial killing psychology (wanting to know what it was like) + incel + bullying in childhood + potential rejection from those girls or similar girls/girls who knew them + thinking he could get away with it due to "expertise" = reasons

His professor at DeSales University has written several books about serial killers and the psychology behind it. This is where he became fascinated and obsessed with not only murder, but the psychology behind serial killing and everything that goes into it.

Dr. Katherine Ramsland if you're interested.

"Ramsland stated that she remembered Kohberger as a respectful, intense, and curious student, and that she didn't perceive any red flags from him during their interactions. However, she has expressed concerns that her courses on serial killers might have inadvertently inspired him. "

We do have evidence that he was planning for a murder well before moving to Pullman, but after he accepted an invitation to the PhD program. I still think it's incel-based and he did have something against those specific victims but the fact he was already planning something huge adds an interesting layer.
So did Beck, Dathe and Reaves all play together or is Beck a year above them? It seems Reaves is a year below but Dathe and Beck seem to have the same timeline
