Go listen to his show yesterday. He literally said “his sources” have told him that LSU was out and he was going to Texas.

Yeah, he did this morning. I believe his sports site with Hunt had him as a big Texas lean? Maybe he was, but I will just choose to be glad he chose LSU.

I'm not sure why he's catching strays in this thread. He very clearly states when he does and doesn't have inside information, and with most all of the portal stuff he's stated he's on the outside looking in.
yeah my original statement was harsh and I’ll apologize if he’s lurking I really don’t care for scone though who continues to put out bad info when yall guys on the rb are putting in the work for the average lurker like me.

That Bino was reportedly favoring Texas.

Which at the time, was true. Not necessarily that he was favoring them, but that it was being reported that he was.

Gotcha. I haven’t been keeping up with the portal so I’m totally out of the loop.

That’s what I was wondering. But I’m a bigger Hunt fan than most on here. He’s my favorite BR media member by far.

Exactly.

Hunt was repeating what was being reported and didn't say it was inside information. When he does have inside information, he is clear about it and it's usually very solid.

He probably is, but we are also losing Stanfield and Brown so the OF is wide open.

Hunt is great for baseball.

Hunt approaches it like a journalist first. IMO, he is the best local sports journalist. And he has stated in the past that baseball, then basketball, were his strongest areas, and that he had to work to adequately learn football to cover the big 3 for LSU. I think he did an admirable job learning it.

Which is awesome. Can we make sure our pitchers stop walking people though?

8 walks a game is what ruined us this year, not offensive production.

Easy work around:

"At the time, that was true. LSU late last night was able to get some people to step up and made a huge last minute offer and it worked"

Agree with you, but saying out is still too absolute. Doesn’t matter to me though. Things could change. I am just pleased Bino chose LSU.

Guesswork for clicks and engagement. I appreciate the hustle but these dudes rarely know shite that everyone else doesn't know outside of family or agents.

He's a projected 1st rounder by just about everyone out there, he was never coming back

Most projections typically have him in the 20ish range which comes with about a $4M signing bonus give or take a few hundred grand...he has a TON of leverage being a draft eligible sophomore so it wouldnt be surprising if he got more than that as well

You dont pass that up
