You can't blame the jury but it just seems like all cards were against him with the jury lineup...what are really the odds of that in NO? But had it been white kids and an all black jury, shite the verdict would have still been the same, guilty.

We don't know what Jarvis Jones did exactly to get kicked off the team. I bet most coaches would have never kicked RP off the team unless the cops were arresting him for numerous felony counts. Miles has proved to be a strong enforcer of rules in the past. He has kicked off Jones, RP, Derrick Odom, and possibly a couple minor players I am forgetting.

Two of those three things are irelevant...RP was not guilty of anything and was the result of the media running with rumors.
The only thing RP ever did wrong outside of missing classes and such was the ID.

I don't think that Les was playing favorites at all...I actually applaude the man for kicking great players off of his team. It takes a lot of guts for a coach to do that because that could hurt the team. It's kinda of a lose-lose situation at time. Either keep a troublemaking kid or cut a great player.
If he were playing favorites, Perilloux and Jarvis might still be there...

Slackhouse, Tigerbait and now PalmBeachTiger are correct. Read their post and you have your answer. It put the school in a fix. If the rules of the SEC is to report an infraction or dismiss the student, you didmiss the student.
