Good grief, coaches get fired all the time and it never happens.

Coaches who were let go just ratted out violations at Arizona St
But sure, LSU probably isn't worried about an ex-coach discussing recruiting violations since we've had nothing to worry about on that front recently. Let's go to court over the 1 year remaining in his contract and not just settle for a few hundred just to make him go away.

Ultimately it didn't work out, but LSU's OL did win the award for best O-line in 2019 while we went 15-0 during a historic season.

Almost two years removed, I wonder how deserving that award actually was? Joe got rid of the ball quick, and Clyde typically made the first guy miss. When protection broke down, Joe did some amazing work to get outside the pocket. Clyde also was hit behind the line a lot, but had the balance and footwork to still gain positive yards.

Hundreds of assistant coaches get fired in cfb every year...why don't they all shake down their former employer? Why didn't Tommie Robinson bury LSU when he went to A&M? Why didn't Damayune Craig? Peveto? Stud? Billy Gonzales? Oh that's right, because you don't give the launch codes to the guys at the bottom of the totem pole in transient positions.

Love to see a link on the ASU investigation to back up your claim

Generally they have good relationships with the coach firing them, they get a recommendation, and want to work again in college football.

This is sooo wrong. Did Les or CJ McCarthy take the wrap for Akiem Hicks?

Lol I didn't think so. You're making the claim and can't show any proof.

They fired McCarthy and we self reported. I don't recall him suing LSU or getting a golden parachute, but I'm sure that link is coming with the former ASU assistants who flipped on them.

I'm sure Craig, Stud and Gonzales got their old jobs back because of les' rec. Good lawd, keep grasping at straws. Cregg is about to bury LSU

What a puss

No you're just ignorant of a story that was very well publicized and don't want to look it up yourself because it contradicts your foolish argument.

Les would regularly not announce the firing of guys and just wait until they found their job. He might be the worse example for you

No they'll probably just settle out of court like I said twice already.

No doubt, but our O-line also did a good job that year. I don't know that they were the best because at some point it seemed like we just won every award there was, but I was just responding to the guy basically saying this is all just a reminder of what a failure the hire was when there was at least some success there. With that said, he's gone for a reason and should leave it be.

LSU should counter sue for him being terrible at his job and unable to recruit.

Exactly what I thought. It's right next to Stud, Craigs, and Gonzales' recommendation letters from Les and Robinson's recommendation letter from O

Do really think the OL coach knows where the bodies are buried anyway?

Kevin Mawae burned ASU pretty good and he was an assistant OL coach.

This sounds like o was actually looking to fire him anyway.

Well you should be able to use the same internet to prove him wrong then, right??

Just because you are lazy and don’t want to look it up doesn’t mean it isn’t true

It depends how they were fired. This is starting to sound more like o wanted to get rid of him anyway .

Just pay the guy. They are paying Ensminger a whole lot more to go away, among other poor coaching hires
