Remember, Chase had every opportunity to play elsewhere. He stayed home, when LSU wasn’t the place to go for WR production. THAT is character.

Congrats to him and I hope he makes a ton of money. Good luck Chase!!!!

I wouldn’t necessarily say greatest. He had the benefit of one of the greatest college players in history throwing to him.

That said, he’s definitively top 3.

My top WR is still Reed.

With the climate of things heading into the 2020 season, I can guarantee you his brothers/teammates accept this and support him. They are who matter.

Burrow had a very good 2018 which included an upset of the number 3 team in the country.

He wont' be forgotten because he had a phenomenal season and I imagine he would have had another really good season.

But we won't be able to say he did it two years in a row like Josh Reed did in a time when LSU was not known as a passing juggernaut. Reed had two great back-to-back seasons (and that was after he started off as an RB at LSU). Chase probably would have had another great season, but it's apparently not happening, so...

You're comparing a guy's first two years in college to another guy's last two years. I guarantee you Chase's stats from this season + last season wouldve eclisped Reed's numbers.

Now do Jefferson. Same qb for both seasons and same offense

No you can’t. You can’t wish something into stats that didn’t happen. You can subjectively argue that his talent was better than reeds. You can’t argue what happened on the field.

Chase chose to not be the greatest by opting out. That is his decision. Can’t take only the good with that decision and not the bad.

Best of luck to him but what does a full year removed from competition do to his draft stock? It will be interesting to see who jumps ahead of him in the draft based upon their play this year. No way he is the GOAT. He would never have put up the numbers that he did this year if JJ and Terrace Marshall weren't occupying other DB's. By the way, here's list of NFL names that you may recognize. Eric Martin, Wendel Davis, Josh Reed, Michael Clayton, Jarvis Landry, OBJ, Randle, Lafell. Those guys performed at the highest levels for more than just one year. They proved their consistency. Jamarr is on the list, but not GOAT!

Maybe the best season ever, but he’s not even top 10 all time in receiving yards for the university.

some of these so called fans dont give a shite about these guys unless they are currently entertaining them. Their respect & loyalty goes out the window after that.

Do the players give a shite about the people watching them? You know, The people that make the donations to the program that allows them the ability to play this game for FREE? Which the players then use essentially as an interview to the NFL to have a career?
