To do what he did in two years in unparalled by anyone else to ever play the position at LSU. All due respect to Josh Reed and others but one can only imagine the unbreakable records Chase would've set had he played 4 years. And to those criticizing him for sitting out, I still have a hard time belieiving the season will go on in its entirety anyway. Chase brought a Biletnikoff to LSU, broke SEC records, and helped bring a 15-0 national title season. Give him the respect he is due.

Nothing but love and respect for this young man. He gave us the greatest season in LSU history. Well done.
Now he can go out and start getting paid today, not in the spring. TODAY.

I honestly can't say I would not do the same thing if I had the chance.

Best of luck Jamaar. Now go tear up the league and take care of your family.

False.

His choice

He had the choice to be the all time LSU greatest at the position but he didn’t value that as much as sitting out and protecting himself.

That is fine.

That doesn’t mean I have to imagine stuff that didn’t happen to rate him higher.

Best of luck to him, but he is not the GOAT. Names like Andy Hamilton, Wendel Davis, Eric Martin, Michael Clayton, OBJ, Jarvis Landry, Rueben Randle, Brandon Lafell, Justin Jefferson just off the top of my head. Jamarr's name is on the list no doubt.

Agreed! It's all good until he tears an ACL in a meaningless/sketchy season. Mathieu played two seasons here, got kicked off the team, and is still considered one of the greatest DBs to wear purple & gold.

Like I've said before... some of these so called fans dont give a shite about these guys unless they are currently entertaining them. Their respect & loyalty goes out the window after that.

Maybe. Doesn’t change the fact that he just quit on his teammates.

No! To be considered great, you have to be one of the tops in your game for a long period of time. His career doesn’t stand the test of time!

False. He had a couple good season and left his guys hanging . Took valuable reps away from the next guy all camp.

The greatest LSU QB of all time (and probably greatest overall player) also only had 1 good year.
