If this defense makes avg QB’s look great how did we beat Mizzou on the road with good QB and great WR

The defense was dog shite against Mizzou.

Why didn’t Auburn pass all over us?

Auburn doesn't even have an average QB.

Why didn’t Army score a single point.

The team that runs the triple option?

Sure you do. You just have to picks your spots and disguise it well like against any good team

And still maintain gap integrity.

WRONG. u blitz his arse but stay in lanes because yes if he gets away and we are in man press cover 0 or a cover 1 blitz he will burn us running with everybodys back turned

which is why i said before to mix in some zone blitzes. u make his arse make quick deciisons. yeah let him sit in pocket all day and bomb this shitty defense to death and see what happens.

Best case you try simulated pressures first and see if you can get home with home. If you can then you likely win the game. If you can't then you have to go to your zone blitzes and try to trick him into a mistake. I actually think Bama is gonna come out and try to pound the football so our front better step up and force 3rd and longs so we can try any of this. I don't think to game plan will be to blitz or not to blitz. I think it will be to pick spots and mix things up constantly to make Milroe think instead of play.

Dunno where you guys are getting that he’s a running QB, he’s run the ball 42 times in 7 games.

Milrose is definitely sackable but LSU needs to show faux rush and cammo blitzes better

Yep. And this defense allowed Auburn’s QBs to make plays with their legs due to the inability of the DEs to keep containment

That QB ran for over 100 on Georgia & Auburn as a team ran for over 250 against them.

Milroe is average but this defense turns average QBs into Heisman winners

Maybe. But he’s still probably the worse QB we will face in the SEC all year. He’s nowhere near as good as the Ole Miss or Missouri QBs. He’s not even close to as good as Arkansas QB.

CB's line up 10 yards off the ball. So they been game planning for Bama all year

We gave up 500 yards and 39 points against Mizzou. We won b/c of JD.

Mizzou is better than Alabama this year. Their offense is legitimate with Cook (#2 in passing yards and TDs), Schrader (#1 in rushing yards and TDs), Burden (#1 in recs and #2 in rec yards). And their defense is underrated.

He's certainly a threat to run but I agree I wouldn't call him a running QB.

Their oline is elite in blitz pickup.

Their OL has not looked elite at anything I’ve seen.
Milroe is the 2nd most sacked QB in the SEC. Only KJ Jefferson has been sacked more.

If we can stop the run with the front 7 and play with two deep safeties we win. You do need to blitz him, but force him into a hot read and try to jump it.

One major difference I have is that we will have to bring pressure. I have watched a fair amount if his snaps because Bama has been playing at different times than us. When he is pressed he makes mistakes both passing and running. We cannot let him sit back there and get comfortable. He has a cannon and if we allow him to survey the field successfully he can find receivers and has the arm to get the ball to them.

Stop pretending blitzes won't work. Look how many times he's been sacked. Dude has no awareness.

Milroe will look like a Heisman Finalist after the LSU game.

We never cover the middle of the field so this should be an interesting matchup.
