Without reading any of this thread I can summarize.

Miles has lost control
Here we go again
E'erbody does it
LSU isn't as bad as most schools

:amirite:

Everything is under a microscope now and these kids have to be smart and stay out of trouble. IF he's proven guilty, it should be "bye bye".

Let it play out

Not wanting to talk to police is not evidence of guilt but not getting an attorney to deal with this immediately was stupid. Having a "if I ignore it, it will go away" attitude, is dumb.

On the other hand, it sounds to me like the claim is that he was arrested because he would not talk to the police. Law enforcement could have talked to any number of people by this time, and I assume that they did that. To arrest him because he would not meet with them seems punitive. But that is just another element of the story, and may not be correct. I still believe in the wait and see approach. We really know very little about what really happened.

It is a shame. I am sure Les Miles will take this and spin into motivation. Lot of #28 on players for sure for Houston game

Didn't read the whole thread but is this scenario plausible......

girl knocks on door and JM closes door on face and goes back to bed. Girl knocks on door and JM decides not to get up again. Girls starts to walk away and by this time the girl in bed with JM is pissed off enough to get up, open the door, talk some trash and as the girl turns around, drops her with a swift right hook.

He probably waited until there were a few shootings/killings in BR hoping that news would overshadow his arrest. Even though there have been 5 people shot in 3 days, it doesn't seem to have worked.

this is not your typical offseason incident. He punched a woman... This would carry a lot of backlash if we didn't dismiss him IMO

I'd guess they were going to arrest him anyway and he knew that. Not coming in to "talk" just meant the cops had to go get him.

The cops weren't really interested in his side of the story.

Didn't Carlos Hyde do this last season? I think he got 3 games.

Everything hinges on if this gets reduced to a misdemeanor. With a felony he's gone, with a misdemeanor he misses several games.

The story just doesn't add up unless Mills is just an absolute idiot.
