Outside of Hurts and Lamb, there's really nobody on that team that can hurt us. And the Alabama supporting cast (namely the defense) ain't walking through that door to help those two guys out.

Here's what the big issue for Oklahoma is going to be: We aren't going to stop scoring, and Jalen Hurts will make mistakes trying to play catch up.

Hurts was the piece holding Alabama back in 2016 and 2017.

Stingley, Fulton, and Deloitte have to tackle well and I think we win this game going away. Lamb is great after the catch. If you can limit him there, they’ll have trouble sustaining drives.

Hurts will need to be damn near perfect for OU to win. The Sooners CANNOT afford to get down two scores to LSU, because, as another poster suggested, LSU will not stop scoring on OU's putrid defense.

Gotta watch the OU running game. That could get tricky.

He’s gotten better though.

But I think we can push him if the defense has really turned the corner, and I thinknit He.

Oklahoma is running a completely different scheme from the first half of THIS season.

Go look at Hurts rush attempts per game.

I expect a battle against OU; could we blow them out? Sure. But they have shown up the past 2 playoff games, even though they lost.

OU has less talent on the OL, but the scheme is built more around Hurts skillset. He ran less from design with Bama and more with scrambling.

I think his WR talent is significantly less at OU (Lamb withstanding), and he had better running backs behind him.

That said, as others mentioned, this LSU defense is not as strong as those of past years, particularly on the DL, but has shown flashes as of late.

In 2016 he scored the go ahead TD in the NC game with about 2 minutes left
