Probably came across the wrong way by how I said it. I agree with you that it is a select few but they are also vocal frequent posters it seems. They were hammering JT on here and trying to call out anyone who suggested they settle down.
I am not certain but I seem to recall you being someone suggesting they turn down the vitriol since it is pointless.

This is exactly right. The majority of fans either don’t even know about this site or care much less about posting on an LSU sports forum if they do know. This site probably only represents about 25% of our fanbase and about a quarter of those are the small minded morons who obviously don’t know the game and definitely never played it.

Anybody can pretend to be an LSU fan on here. I don’t believe some of these jackasses that post during games. Some dude beezer that was a stros fan was stirring it just to stir it up. I think this is the reason the rant is closed and the scoreboard opens. It’s easier to get rid of the BS fake fans posts that way.

Not sure if I was or not. Might have because attacking our guys for having a bad night is utter cowardice.
Yes I was disappointed with JTs play in game two and that error to extend the inning was a killer (especially followed by a grand slam). However it’s baseball and shite happens. It’s also only sports no one who was freaking out was going to lose anything over that game.
I know from playing, it’s freaking tough sometimes and I was feeling really bad for JT. Hell, game three I cried hearing that ovation, I get a little moist eyed thinking about it now.
I do remember Chicken telling everyone to watch the personal attacks. There should be an auto lockout for some of these posters.
