Saw thread earlier about faster outfielders with the wind that brown wouldn’t start.

I don’t see how you could keep his bat out of the line up.

Where did you see that? You know Brown might be the fastest guy on the team right?

He’s the fastest player on the team and he bashes righties.

Yes, he’s starting.

No I wasn’t aware.
That’s on me

Anyways. I don’t care if it’s a righty and lefty.

He needs to be in starting line up

As an aside, several players, in individual interviews, are saying Brown is the team clown & keeps the locker room in laughter tears.

Brown is smoking fast. Tell us you haven’t watched much baseball without telling us you haven’t watched much baseball.

Not the way he hits against them.

Brown needs to live in a batting cage this summer taking every lefty pitch possible.

I would expect him to start tomorrow as well but Jay keeps things pretty tight to his vest. But that would be my assumption.

Hope you're right. You never know what's in Jay's head.

Jake will start every game against a RHP…So all three if Coastal’s rotation stays as it has been

Pearson is somewhat better against LH pitching. And not starting Brown against a lefty allows you to bring him in to pinch hit in a crucial situation against a RH. Which just happened in our last game.

Brown is my single favorite player on this team, but at this point, I believe Jay is using him correctly.

Or you keep him on the bench for a specific situation

Brown bats a team leading .363 against lefties. Do you know what Pearson bats against lefties? I’ll give you a hint. It’s a lot lower than that.

Stanfield and Curiel obviously are locked in to start

Jay will go with what he thinks is the best march up if that's Brown or Pearson,

Anyone, at this point, who actively questions Jay Johnson's decisions just isn't paying attention. He's going to use his analytics and go with who he believes gives us the best chance to win and the son of a b*tch just keeps pressing the right buttons.'
