I have no problem with fournette not playing in the game because he is not healthy. However, I have a problem with the kid from Stanford and the probability that fournette might not even be at the game. If you love your team so much, why not go to the game and be on the sidelines to support your teammates?

And even though Hester still bleeds Purple and Gold, he says the entire LSU family should be understanding and supportive of Leonard skipping the bowl game because he can't risk a potentially "life-changing" NFL contract.
Sorry, but I'm an LSU fan before an NFL fan. Selfishly I want to see LF7 play one more game for my favorite team. I completely understand the business aspect of it though

I mean, it makes sense. Following the ins and outs of off the field activity is just as shallow and meaningless as the vapid celebrity crap.

It's not anybody on here's decision...LF is a great player and he has suffered and worked hard for a long time even before LSU to get where he is. He doesn't want to screw it up. I hope he gets the highest contract for a rookie ever..

And we have Derrius..

If he doesn't want to play due to injury, that's fine but he should at the very least dress and be with his team. I think that's pretty damn selfish not to dress and at least be there to support your teammates. LSU provided him this opportunity to be a high draft pick and it's a slap in the face to just opt out of the final game to "prep for the draft"

What difference does dressing or not make if he can't play. I'm waiting for someone to tell me why all of a sudden he can't attend the game on the sideline as a spectator, with the team. And if there is no reason, who cares if he has a uniform on or not.

He should not play a bowl game hurt...PERIOD. But he should have participated from the sidelines and announced his decision to go after his just reward in the NFL after. bullshite move by any standard.

Because he signed with an agent. He'll have to get a sideline pass or buy a ticket to watch like everyone else.

Are we supposed to believe this would not happen now? I mean, come on. If he asks O for a sideline pass, what do you think the answer would be?

its a slap in the face to mismanage a player's injury and ruin his last season

So i guess we can say were are even.

I say do whatever
If you can't play go work out, rehab, prepare for the next level. Don't waste time standing on the sidelines.

You know what, frick it

I think it is a slap in the fricking face to feed a guy 37 carries to break a record LF7 was held back from 2-3 times.

I think LF7 did everything he could for this team. He played hurt the entire year, and what did that get him?

Thanks for Everything Leonard. frick these assholes

If he isn't playing, he shouldn't go

Let some other player that normally has to stay home go
