Yes and also he got killed last year for continuing to try to pound the ball against us.

Man I just don’t know. Lawrence broke up like five plays by himself. one from the ground.

Greedy is the best cover corner since Patrick Peterson. He s not as explosive on returns. But goddamn I just never see anyone complete a pass against him

And Delpit. His name just gets called ALL the time for good reasons

Right?!! I feel like he picked one of the three passes targeted at him all game. And successfully PI’ed without a call the other

Interestingly, the guy we thought might be one of the best is injured and out for the year. This defense has a hell of a lot of talent, and depth.

That Greedy pick was unreal.

In Gus' position, if I saw that happening I would have immediately started wearing out the interior D.

He tried to, but then Lawrence took it to another level and started tackling RBs before they could do anything coming out of the backfield. Lawrence must have great conditioning stamina.

It should of been White, but he was being held all day and they weren't called.

They’re all amazing at their own positions and every game one of those guys will outshine the others. It’s amazing to see the amount of talent on this D.

Greedy is a better cover corner than pp7 was. Also claiborne was probably better than peterson as well. Dont get me wrong, peterson was solid, but alot of his play is overrated by reputation.

I saw Divinity playing the edge well, taking on multiple blockers and shedding them to do it.

I don’t think it was overrated per se. But he was just so exciting and dominant. his athleticism was on display at all times and he also took like everything else he touched to the house. Kick off returns. Punt returns. A few interceptions. And some of the interceptions he made were just impossible athletic feats, like the one he tipped to himself .

It seems like Greedy is just the perfect pure corner. Always in control always reading and always capitalizing.

Anthony filled in well for chaisson yesterday minus the penalty.

He had 2 sacks but they only credited him with a half a sack and a tfl

He did. He got burned looking in a couple times on the first AU drive in the second half, but he’s still learning. Things like that will happen from time to time

Top to bottom barring anymore injuries and suspensions, this is the best D that LSU has ever assembled imho. We need Tyler Taylor back. Any chance? But we have more depth now at all 3 levels than I can remember.
