It’s super hard to figure out who the best player on this Defense is...

White was all over the field. Lawrence was beating the Qb to his handoff. Greedy is a black hole that no one can throw into... and to me, the surprise standout has been Delpit. That guy made so many clutch tackles all day.

One of favorite defenses in a long time.

(Also it’s probably White )

Can’t say I’m surprised I saw André Anthony’s jersey all over the field yesterday. He’s not the best but dude is a freak

not trying to be negative but why is it "necessary" to have a "best" player. it is a team sport and it takes the whole defense to win. some guys have great games and off games. nature of the sport

The only concern to me was Auburn running straight up the middle and gaining 5+ yards a few times during the game, especially when first contact occurred near the line of scrimmage. In Gus' position, if I saw that happening I would have immediately started wearing out the interior D.

I mean if people dared throw at Greedy more it might be him. He’s ridiculous.

Greedy?

Chaisson would be right there with those four if he wasn’t injured.

Devin White is our best defensive player but he has a lot of help out there from other quality athletes.

Of course it isn’t necessary. It’s just that we ve always had a guy who super stood out!. Peterson, Matthieu, then Jamal Adams...

It’s really not.

Lawrence is great.

Greedy is great.

Delpit is great.

But D White is on another level. I’m not sure there is a better pure football player in the SEC.

It WAS Auburn. They are an imaginative, powerful running team.
