Semjase consistently complains on here. Today is just another day. A true nega-tiger fan.

Frank Wilson has earned and deserves the right to be begged by the new HC to stay and to be part of this rebuild.

If we can’t get Lane, then I’d be ok with Frank. He’d could be like Ed O without the idiot factor. Hire good coaches, keep the players that we want, get most of the players that we want, and do it all without the risk of a billion dollar buyout.

With that said, I still want Lane.

Couldn’t ask for a better interim

I hope whoever we hire retains him and gives him a nice raise. He’s more than earned it

True, but there are still people out there wanting to give him a shot at HC. He is not talented enough not even close. Winning Championship programs take more talent than he has to give.

The interaction between Frank and the Tigah players at the end of the game and as he walked across the field to do the customary shaking of the hands with Arky, tells us all we need about how much those players appreciate Frank Wilson. Always a gentleman.

TigerNation appreciates him too. IMHO Frank Wilson was just what LSU needed to calm things down after a nasty coach and AD firing and accusations flying around. He stabalized a tense situation and won.

Frank Wilson bleeds Purple and Gold.

So you are ok with him being a Asst coach, just not head coach? Is that safe to assume your are saying??

Not sure how that’s your conclusion.

He shouldn’t be leading young men anywhere in any capacity in my opinion.

All he said was it’s hard to not like him. He didn’t say let him be the head coach.

Loved that he stopped before coming out of the tunnel and did the sway thing. Les used to do that.

These boys haven’t given up.

Unbelievable!
Frank and about 1/2 of this roster need to be as far away from this program as possible.
This team is just not that good.
And he's a "great recruiter"?

At this point I wouldn’t mind if he was named permanent coach. He loves LSU and the players love him. What else is out there besides Kiffin?

He took over a team under difficult circumstances and then coached the team to a win. Props to him.

Agreed

But at home against a winless SEC team

And we got down 14

It wasn’t pretty by any stretch

He has a job for life, just not the head coach job, maybe.
I would not be unhappy if they give him a chance.

Most of us would like to see Frank stay at LSU in the Personell Department working with Austin Thomas. NO WAY as Head Coach. (We've seen him as a HC at Texas-San Antonio and McNeese) Thanks, but no thanks.

I think this is what he’s referencing.

Frank Wilson is the current interim head coach of the LSU Tigers football team as of November 16, 2025.
Background and LSU Connection
• He is a New Orleans native and LSU alumnus.
• Wilson previously served as LSU’s running backs coach and recruiting coordinator from 2010–2015 under Les Miles and Ed Orgeron, earning a reputation as one of the top recruiters in college football (e.g., National Recruiter of the Year honors).
• He left LSU in 2016 to become head coach at UTSA (2016–2019), then coached at McNeese State (2020–2021).
• Brian Kelly rehired him in December 2021 as associate head coach and running backs coach.
• Following Brian Kelly’s firing on October 26, 2025 (after a 34–14 record over ~4 seasons), LSU named Wilson interim head coach for the remainder of the 2025 season.
2022 Sexual Harassment Allegations
In March 2022, former LSU associate athletic director Sharon Lewis amended a federal retaliation/Title IX lawsuit against the university (originally filed in 2021, primarily over mishandling of complaints against former coach Les Miles). The amendment included allegations that Wilson, during his first LSU stint (2010–2015):
• In 2013, entered her office, closed the door, exposed his erect penis, and asked her to touch it.
• On a separate occasion, kissed another female employee without consent.
• Sexually harassed female students and staff from 2012–2016.
Lewis claimed she reported the incidents to LSU administrators (Miriam Segar and Verge Ausberry), but no action was taken. Wilson was not named as a defendant.
LSU’s response at the time: The university stated it was “unaware of any prior allegations against Frank Wilson” and found “no evidence that any such allegations were ever reported to LSU officials” or surfaced in a 2021 independent Title IX review (Husch Blackwell report).
Brian Kelly’s response: Kelly called the allegations “egregious” and “unfounded,” saying they did not affect Wilson’s status and that LSU stood firmly behind him.
Outcome of the broader lawsuit: Lewis’s claims against LSU went to trial, but in 2025 the 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals upheld a jury verdict in LSU’s favor, finding insufficient evidence of retaliation (e.g., her 2022 termination was tied to departmental restructuring under Kelly, and decision-makers were unaware of her prior complaints).
No criminal charges were filed against Wilson, and he has denied the allegations (calling them “egregious and not true”). He has remained on staff continuously since 2021 and was elevated to interim head coach in 2025.

It really makes you wonder if Kelly was brought in a as a “squeaky clean” coach to clean house and return to the pre-Sharon Lewis structure? They put the band back together…..
