I like Frank as an interim coach and maybe a person. As a permanent head coach, I don't think Frank can recruit the players we need nor take us "to the promise land." So, it's a big no for me for Frank staying on as head coach! Go Tigers!

Frank Wilson has earned and deserves the right to be begged by the new HC to stay and to be part of this rebuild.

If we can’t get Lane, then I’d be ok with Frank. He’d could be like Ed O without the idiot factor. Hire good coaches, keep the players that we want, get most of the players that we want, and do it all without the risk of a billion dollar buyout.

True, but there are still people out there wanting to give him a shot at HC. He is not talented enough not even close. Winning Championship programs take more talent than he has to give.

The interaction between Frank and the Tigah players at the end of the game and as he walked across the field to do the customary shaking of the hands with Arky, tells us all we need about how much those players appreciate Frank Wilson. Always a gentleman.
TigerNation appreciates him too. IMHO Frank Wilson was just what LSU needed to calm things down after a nasty coach and AD firing and accusations flying around. He stabalized a tense situation and won.

To my knowledge no one has died under Frank’s watch, unlike the Absentee Yankee Doodle Dandy. Nor does Frank smash cans against his forehead and go shirtless like Ed the Idiot. And, I’ve yet to see Frank eat grass and talk in tongues like Lester.

Not sure how that’s your conclusion.
He shouldn’t be leading young men anywhere in any capacity in my opinion.

Care to elaborate? Because the only thing I remember was accusations from that lady (I can't remember her name) who worked in the athletic department and she sued the school and she was basically proven wrong iirc.
