It’s ideal at all but I’ll take 6-2 entering the bama/Texas stretch

If we lose to miss state at home the wheels will completely fall off. In Tiger stadium I think we will respond and win

Auburn is awful but it’s a road game and our road struggles are well documented so until we show we can go on the road and handle business I’m assuming that’s going to be a much more stressful game then it needs to be.

But assuming we beat both you enter November 6-2 with everything in front of you. Beating Texas, bama and Tenn in a row won’t be a small task but frick it let’s see what happens.

One team one heartbeat Geaux Tigers !!

6-2 is the best we can hope for now, but we needed to be at least 7-1 bc we are not getting through Bama Texas and Tenn without at least two losses

Alabama and Texas are both beatable at home. Alabama has a young inexperienced QB, Tiger Stadium at night will be by far the toughest environment he’s played in. And Texas just lost to an offensively anemic OU team. Of course they will be tough games, but both VERY winnable at home.

What’s ironic about this team is I could actually see us winning those 3 games. I think we can compete with anyone.

But I can also see us losing one of the Miss. State, Auburn or Arky games.

This team is its own worst enemy.

LSU has lost 8 games in a row on the road. I don't know how anyone can suggest that beating Tenn and Okla on the road is a given, and I'm not sure about Allbarn, at this point. Beating Texas and Alabama in TS may be the easier road, but the way we are defending, most unlikely. I'll let you add up how many losses that very well could be, and quite frankly it could be less than .500 w/l season. I don't think anyone ever conceived that could be a possibility. I'm thinking 7-5 right now as the best we can do, but like you, I am still hoping for a miracle 9-3 season.

Nothing else left is hope

the team is good enough to win all the games

and it's capable of losing 3 or 4 more

it's the SEC

there are no layups...

nobody had OU beating UT this weekend

UF has beaten like a drum back to back weekends

At least LSU was in position to win both of their road game loses

LSU is very much in “show me” mode now. I don’t know if we’ll win out or we’ll lose every game left.

There is not a game left on the schedule that LSU CAN"T win. Every game is winnable. That's the one caveat we have. And if we get Weeks and Green back for the run then it is absolutely possible to run the table.

You are exactly right sir. My bad. I therefore, change my prediction for this year to 8-4. I do think we will squeak out a win at Arkansas,

I know I’m going to get blasted for saying this, but I think there’s absolutely a chance that we beat Texas and Alabama at home. We seem like a completely different team.

However, I have zero confidence in winning in Knoxville. Hell, I’m nervous about going to Auburn, and they are terrible.
