amazing that Bama has fcked up to systems with human bias and influence. First the BCS fiasco which created his new committee designed to reward conference champs. Now this. Ironic that Bama will be at the cause for the beginning and end of the committee.
when you live in the top 4, you get talked about a lot

Clemson will soon be joining them. We were almost there

This. I'm not an OSU fan but they won their conference and should have been the #4 seed.

Hell, even the PAC12 champs are left out.

It needs to be at least 12 to give all conference champions a shot or split the FBS.

But didn't win their division last year and got in. The committee set the precedent then.

Can't have a 4 team playoff with 5 major conferences. It's not going to work. 6 or 8 teams will be here soon.

I say they should make a mega 129 team playoff format.

Lets see if Kent St. can pull off the miracle upset over Clemson in the round of 129.

If you only take the highest ranked CC, then all the speculation is taken out of it. You don’t win your division and CC your not in. It simple, to simple it seems. Bama did neither, had a week SOS, played only 2 top 10’s barely beat 1) LSU 2) lost to Auburn.

I agree that if they are going to let in teams in a field of 4 that haven’t even won their division whenever there are 5 power conferences then they need to increase the field to 8. 5 conference champions and 3 at large bids. At this point there is very little incentive to winning your conference let alone division.

Now this guy knows what’s up.

People argue expanding the playoffs would devalue the regular season. I disagree, it makes it interesting

Correct, an 8 team playoff still makes every game relevant. If you expand too far, such as 16 teams, then yes, the regular season is diluted.

But 8 teams? Come on, a team still has to have a great regular season, or win their conference championship, to get in the playoffs.

Sure, but it's far better that team 9 bitch than team 5. It's just like March Madness, where team 65 bitches, but who cares. The farther away from the top you get, the weaker the argument.

Keep at 4. Eliminate the committee and bring back the BCS computer formula.

This has been my argument since they started it.
