Where is all this positive energy coming from on Hilton?

He can maybe be a wr3 imo.

I honestly think Parker or one of the other freshmen from this year will have to step up.

We know Sampson will be a beast once he learns the system and gets comfortable.

Lacy and Simpson

I like Hilton, but he's going to be next year's 2023 Lacy. He'll likely average 20 yards a catch for 500 yards and 6-7 TDs, but Sampson and Lacy will be the go tos.

One duo had Burrow and the other had Daniels. It's a trio, and you need to have a top 5 QB to get those numbers.

If Lacy, Hilton and Aaron Anderson hit the practice field with Nuss nonstop over the next year to work on timing, I see good things in LSU’s future

We might run a 3 TE set especially in the red zone

Some of us still remember the Dwayne Bowe, Early Doucet, Buster Davis trio.

Hilton looked good this year, put on really good weight looks strong and retained his speed. Definitely looks older and more mature growing into his body. He will be good imo I think he was ready this year but has tho and three really good guys ahead of him. 2 of them will be gone

Just has to get his hands right.

I think the hands issue is more of a concentration issue and has steadily gotten better in my estimation. Seems like he catches the tough ones and drops the easier ones trying to turn upfield before he has secured the ball

I think he is going to take the next step next year and will be another Biletnikoff contender.

… and it all starts with the foundation. Coach Davis has the OL on lockdown. Brown and Sampson are my answer for the original question.

What ever happened to Jack Bech wasn't he supposed to be the next big thing?

Bech is playing special teams at tcu. He transferred bc he thought he should get more touches so he transferred to a pass happy offense where he played on punt coverage and played garbage time on a bad team while we had the best offense in the nation

Funny how that works out sometimes eh?

Pretty crazy I remember in 2006 with Bowe, Davis and Doucet all of them had over 700 yards receiving. Crazy for back then. We’ve always had great WRs.

With better QB plays these duos would’ve been elite

LaFell/Byrd
Toliver/Randle
Dupre/Dural

LSU has always had great Wide receivers

These whipper snappers who btch, whine and complain never watched LSU until their sister made them in 2019.

Thankful he’s probably coming back, for a while he said he wanted to drop out to become a fisherman, but friends and family quickly talked him out of it, they were afraid he wouldn’t catch anything.

Lacy will be freaking great next year. Watch. He had some drops, but every time he caught the ball he was a killer after the catch.

How old are you? Bowe and Davis? Both first round picks in the same draft…
