Or lack thereof. If we have a hammer for Friday nights, (like 23 and 25) we have ten more wins in conference. We had some key injuries obviously, and most of the year with terrible fielding, but as of now- last night as an example- we walked 7 and had two wild pitches and two hit batters. The end. Let’s get some hammers from the portal next year and be better. (Blame whomever you want for the issue. But that IS the issue.)

I gotta be honest with I love LSU baseball as much as anybody here but this shite is hard to watch scoring 89 and 10 runs on a Friday night and getting beat. Are you freaking kidding me how many times this year is this happened to us?

That's been the case lately. But early in SEC play, errors were killing us and not hitting the ball. Now that our errors are down and our hitting has improved, we've lost 2 starters and the bad pitching had stayed the same.

Being 2nd to last in fielding percentage doesn’t help.

Paz - 4.1 innings
Cowan - 4.2
Tigers win

Fontenot - 3.0 innings
Lach - 2.0
Theo - 1.0
Garcia - 2.0
Plog - 1.0
Hope for the best and the lefties give UGA trouble. Have to finish innings so the next reliever can start a fresh inning.

Not looking good Sunday, unless Evans can give you 3, then that completely changes things. I feel good about Fontenot and Lachenmayer giving you 4-5.

Yep. We scored 4 or fewer in several of the early losses to teams that score 6 or fewer.

Problem is you can’t find them in the portal because they get paid.

And if they make it to the portal you have to outbid other schools. Many also already have a destination in mind when they hit the portal.

The real answer is to have enough money to pay kids in high school and keep them from signing with MLB and for them to choose college. This is very expensive.
