the best coach in the SEC is the coach who has been able to win against LSU with the least number of great players, that's right, the one and only HOUSTON NUTT, ask LES who has beat him more than any other coach

Miles = Richt but without the speaking abilities. They both have very similar qualities.

Yep, nothing in the past 2 years has anything to do with any of our idiotic segment thinking this program is declining.
It really doesn't, because those idiots were saying the same things up until the minute we won the national title, despite our 33-6 record in three years before that game was played.
Winning the title sent them into hiding for an offseason, as if they could say anything after winning a national title, but they jumped right back to bashing the moment of the Florida game in 08 and haven't stopped since.
The simple truth is, first impressions are tough to shake.
The majority of the bashers never liked Miles from the moment he was hired, and nitpicked every bit of success we've had with him. Now that things are going rough, they are eating it up. Simple as that.
They refuse to admit that we have already done BETTER than most of them would have predicted coming into the season if Miles were as incompetent as they would lead us to believe.
And they refuse to acknowledge that things are shaping up VERY WELL for 2010, which most rational fans pointed to as our year to really challenge for titles before this season anyway.

I do think Nutt's a great coach, but his teams never handle expectations. That's his biggest drawback. His teams are at their best when they have nothing to lose, and they have that "us against the world" mentality.

If Miles is here for 12 years, they'll still be saying, "I told ya so..."

Schedule-wise....maybe. But the fact that we've beaten (some barely) some bad teams doesn't lessen the fact that we have & are playing shitty. What win is impressive? You can't choose your schedule, true. But to say we've looked impressive in any game but one is not true. FTR-we've played 10, that's not a good percentage.

What makes you say this? We'll have to replace more OL with newer OL that can't seem to find the field now given this year's shitty OL. We're losing several DL from a poor DL unit with not much depth. We're losing our best RBs. It is still very debatable how good JJ will be if he has 5yrs experience. Etc.

Thank you, Billy Ray, for proving my points with remarkable efficiency. You say we won't do well in 2010, likely because you don't believe Miles can correct the mistakes of this 8-2 team.
I respectfully disagree, and think LSU will be the frontrunner for the SEC title next year.
If I am wrong, I will certainly admit it.
See you in 2010.

Les Miles has done a fantastic job at LSU
pulling wins against la tech and troy out of his arse = amazing job

Because these idiots are delusional. They refuse to actually notice what's taking place on the field and resort to the "wait til next year" catchphrase that holds very little merit considering what we have to replace and how we've been playing without having to replace them yet.
But hey, I hope they're right. But who's more foolish? The fool or the fool that follows him?

while that is somewhat troubling, it's still not as bad as losing to UAB. or ULM for that matter.

hell yea
i expected LSU to lose to MSU and La Tech this year

and it's not comparable
1st year of a rebuilding project is not year 4 and 5 of a well-oiled machine (that another coach built for you)

Did you think Miles was going to get the defense fixed last year? Or were you one of the "BBQ Buddy" idiots claiming Miles wouldn't make a move?

Um,your buddy Nick pulled one out of his arse vs troy the year after his NC,too.

This is weak, even for you Slow. Saban squeaked out a 24-20 win against Troy in year 5.

I disagree. It's absolutely comparable. At no point should an LSU or Bama EVER lose to ULM or UAB. Ever.
Or get completely annihilated by Utah in a bowl game.

Did I think Miles was going to correct his terrible mistake of his previous hirings?

we didn't pull the Tech win out of our arse. Was there ever really a doubt we'd win that game? I was watching that game early in the third quarter, and people were still taking bets against a 16 point spread.

Talk about pulling one out of your arse : Oregon State's kicker misses THREE extra points ?

Thanks for answering the question without even trying to.
