Because of Tenner, Bama's backs are against the wall. Saban has two weeks to prepare them for a do or die. We're not beating them this year.

Yep. This might sound odd, but Bama needs this game A LOT more than we do.

Amazing how some people on here just can’t help but set themselves up for failure. Can’t simply be happy this team is ahead of schedule. 10-2 is now “probable”. frick outta here.

It’s not 50/50 to non-LSU fans. Everyone expects Bama to win. 70-30 is more like it.

Its already a monumental season.i dont remember a new coaching staff that did this well in first season in the sec. This is not about being satsfied with a good first season or being enthusiastic. Im just giving you predictions based on how we are performing and how our opponents performing. I started the season with 7 5 CEILING because it was yet another coaching staff. After FSU, raised it to 9 3 ceiling...it was surprisingly apparent the kids had bought in and JD had the no 1 trait u need in a qb...icecold! After Florida i raised the ceiling to 10 2 cause offense finally became consistent. All this and what the other teams are doing...bama is not a crusing ship at all..

That’s good. I’m down heavy on the over 7 wins.

Going 8-4 considering what BK inherited and how we started out the season would be outstanding. LSU’s already turning some heads, people are impressed with how quickly we’re turning it around.

But I do think we win at least 2 games between Bama, A&M and Arkansas.

The team is stoked and I think the TN loss lit a fire under their asses. Coaches too.

Look, I also have entertained this thought but this would punch LSU’s ticket to the SECCG. Seems unlikely but sometimes dreams really do come true

Yes it does. Right now we do not lack anything for this to be true. Its just hard to believe when you look back especially at the Auburn game.

It's not unreasonable perhaps. But 9-3 is probable, 8-4 starting to look conservative. Even 7-5 is an ok overall season considering where we were day 1. But we're looking at 9-3/8-4. Either is reasonable and a great season right now.

9-3 is very doable. 10-2 will take a lot of help to get there. How many times has an Alabama team come in looking beatable and after bye that seems to fleet. They have a more complete team overall than lsu. They can win but I doubt it happens but they surely can beat everyone else on the schedule if they play like the last 2 games.

Making the Alabama game a tough game for them to win and winning out would be a monstrous way to end what looked like a rebuild 7-5 win season max.

But have they? I mean, not counting the otherwise very well-behaved Special Teams unit.

Hail yea they have. Have you seen any finger pointing?...erratic confusion between plays?...off the field discipline issues. Only thing that was a concern was Boutte not trusting JD at first but that got fixed . Last two seasons, you could see the shite overflowing on the field. Special teams was an execution issue not a belief issue. This season has the potential to become the best season in 21st century...even better than 03.

Technically, there is no possible way it can be better than 2003 or 2019. You have a legit case with the 2007 season. You're looking at the absolute best case scenario though.

The Bama odds aren't close to being 50/50 though. The odds of us beating Bama, Arky, & A&M are even worse.

Obviously, it's possible...just not likely. Hopefully, it works out for us & we get UGA or Tennessee in Atlanta.

We would still have to win 2 more games against top 5 teams though. The odds of all that happening are astronomically small.

It would definitely be 1 of the most overachieving seasons of all time in college football. Maybe even the most.

Gonna go out on a limb and guess you didn’t take many statistics classes.

Even if Bama were a 50/50 game (it’s not, but I like your enthusiasm) 10-2 wouldn’t be the “most probable” outcome. We would have a higher probability of losing at least 1 of our 4 remaining games than winning them all.

Alabama is gonna be at 2 TD favorite in TS on Nov 5. Bama has so much talent at every position and their back is against the wall, so I think it will be very hard for us to prevail.

If we lose to Bama, we are 6-3/4-2. Our season will be made in Fayetteville and in College Station. If we can win out our last 3 games, 9-3 would be amazing for this roster.
