Is Woody capable of hiring a young coach?

He destroyed aTm by just throwing the checkbook at Jimbo.
He’s destroying LSU by throwing the checkbook at another old guy who’s good on paper.
He threw the checkbook at Mulkey. Worked out but who gives a shite.
Is he capable of seeing a young, up and coming talent in the game or are all of his hires lazy, old boy bullshite that most likely won’t work out and set the university back decades?
I wouldn’t hire BK or Woody as a corporate executive in any role. I can see the ‘cover your arse’ mentality a mile away. Those assholes milk a salary and don’t get shite done. BK and Woody have that written all over their fat faces.

I watch and study the game and other coaches on a daily basis. If I were planning to elevate LSU’s program with a somewhat young coach, I’d first replace Kelly with someone with a lot of experience to hold the program together for 25 years to give the young coaches out there time to grow. Then I’m throwing a bank truck at Curt Cignetti.

Cignetti is older than Kelly and will have exactly two years of P4 coaching experience at the end of this year.

Jimbo Fisher signed his last contract extension with Texas A&M in September 2021. Scott Woodward was at LSU at that time

I think people just see his name and trajectory of JMU success followed by Indiana sucess and just assume he is a young guy, lol.
