10-2 with a chance to take the lead in the SEC. Vs a ranked team?

I think that would be the Sweet 16 game 2 years ago.

Biggest home SEC regular season game I can remember in very recent years sans maybe a UK game, take control atop the SEC tonight for either team.

Biggest game this season? Sure.

In "years"? No.

LSU was leading the SEC and played two top 11 teams just last season (@ Auburn and Kentucky). Those were bigger. They played quite a few big games in 18-19. The most notable being Tennessee at home and UK on the road. Tennessee was a top 5 team at the time after being ranked #1 for several weeks. Those were MUCH bigger.

This is a great opportunity for LSU to put themselves in position to win the SEC. But "biggest game in years"? Not even close

Tennessee was ranked 6th in 2019 when they came to the PMAC I remember that being a big game.

When you have 10 games left in your 18 game SEC schedule, no, it's not the biggest game in years, or even the year considering we have to play this team again.

$5 Tennessee at home 2 years ago without Tremont was a huge game, and was needed to claim the SEC title outright.
And you could say the last home game against Vandy was the biggest. Granted we weren't going to lose it, but it clinched the outright title and the lsu fanbase let the upper brass at LSU know how we felt about that idiot Aleva.

Means nothing at this point. We go to Bama in a few weeks anyway.

I wish. But unless it is a game against Kentucky, people (including the students) just don't show up for weekday games.

Now, the game in a few weeks vs. Texas Tech would have been rocking. Maybe not quite to the level it was when #1 Oklahoma came to town a few years back. But it certainly would have matched the Tennessee game in 2019.

Buddy Hield....... We were so close to winning that game, but he had an amazing second half.

CWW says they are all big and that’s why you come to LSU. Gotta love him.

It will be the biggest game that less than 3500 people have attended in that building....you can bet your arse on that.

By definition that could mean 2 years, and seeing how there was no game last season as big, then i guess technically yes.

As WW put it, 'if we keep winning, they'll all be big'
