He is her uncle, not her father.
I agree 100% with this. We have been making the trip to fish the White River for 30+ years and it is one of my favorite places to fish anywhere.

We have always stayed at Gaston’s but you do have some other options for lodging. Cranor’s is also very good.

As RingLeader said, Feb is an amazing time to go. A lot of it is dependent on the shad kill, but fishing is still excellent year round. If you are looking for big browns, this is a great time. It can get COLD but manageable with the right gear.

We are headed back there around the same time too.

Agreed fully. Played it last week and it was in excellent shape and I loved the layout. One of the best rounds per $$ spent in the area.
Originally built for Izzo’s and then became a Qdoba for a short while.
Is there a YouTube link to the bottom of the ninth yet?
Halls Chophouse for dinner.
We will need a full report back!

re: NIT Bid possibility

Posted by Dexter Fillmore on 3/14/25 at 10:33 am to
Based on the information we have from the NIT updated for 2025, they use the following to determine their "KNIT" rankings.

quote:

Exempt teams will include the top two teams not selected to the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship from both the Atlantic Coast Conference and Southeastern Conference. In addition, the top team not selected to the NCAA championship from the top 12 conferences (based on the Ken Pomeroy Rating) will receive an exempt bid to the NIT. The top teams from each conference will be determined based on the average of the teams’ ESPN Basketball Power Index (BPI), Kevin Pauga Index (KPI), NCAA Evaluation Tool (NET), Ken Pomeroy Rating (KenPom), Strength of Record (SOR), Torvik ranking and Wins Above Bubble (WAB) ranking. All rankings are already included in the “Team Sheets” used by the NIT Committee during the selection process.

This does not specify if any of the individual rankings are weighted in any format. If not, below is how the average rankings shake out for the SEC. From this, LSU is ahead of SC in this criteria. All data is updated as of this morning.

Most NCAA projections show a minimum of 12 teams making the tournament from the SEC. Texas is square on right on the bubble so a win today vs Tenn would be huge. Lunardi does have them as one of the "Last Four In", giving the SEC 13 teams.

Team Avg BPI KPI NET KenPom SOR Torvik WAB
1 Auburn 1.86 3 1 2 2 1 3 1
2 Florida 3.86 4 3 4 4 4 4 4

with 1 NCAA and 1 NIT. One was fired and the other was forced to resign. McMahon is currently 44-47 (with more L's coming), no NCAA, no NIT, no clue, and he gets a vote of confidence from Woodward. WTF?

McMahon and LSU went to the NIT last year
They have played better since loosing their best player, Boogie Fland, injury.
100%. It does not get as much attention as it deserves.

Their traditional Italian dishes are excellent.

Really good pizzas and sandwiches too.

Scooters does a real good job with their fried seafood po-boys.
Picked up 2 early fouls. Same with Cam.

The driver was in a Chevrolet Silverado, and the incident took place a half mile north of the Louisiana 435 gate, which is on the southern end of the subdivision.

Update—
I played the course in late July and it was a great golfing experience. Excellent condition and the greens rolled perfect. I really enjoyed the layout as well.

Definitely worth the play if you can.
