Yep. Last night was Colorado State in 1992. I was at that game. It was miserable.

We were good from '85-88. Two SEC titles in '86 and '88 and one-loss regular seasons in '85 and '87.

Yes, but I don't know if it reaches the point of the mid to late Curly years. The fans won't allow it to happen. Back then the numbers went down but people still went to games. They didn't totally abandon the program. I think because even though LSU had been historically good, we had never been dominant. The last 16 years or so showed us what this program can and should be.

Get ready for what Duke football feels like. Whoever hired that SOB Alleva is certifiably nuts.

I remember the 90s well and I say those teams as bad as they were attempted to play hard

No this is much worse. In the 90s it was cheap and still fun to tailgate

I was there also. Lost something like 17-13? There RB scored on a 80 something yard TD on a play where he stepped out of bounds several times but it was still call a TD. Video on the 10 O clock news proved it.

I was at LSU FROM 92-96. To me this is worse because we were at the top very recently. It sucked back then but it's all we knew. This is much worse to me.

If Auburn beats us by 40+ in a couple of weeks, you will know how it felt.

Not really. In the 90's we weren't shocked to lose this game. Disappointed? Yeah sure but it didn't surprise any body.

The next few years will be like the 90s unless something is done quickly. Laughable product on the field, apathetic fan base, half empty stadium.

I was at LSU from 90-95(spring) and never saw a winning season. I was at the final home game of the 94 season against USM. There were maybe 30K in the stands at kickoff and the student section had maybe 200 people in it and some of them were studying. It was a joke. If O and Alleva are not let go LSU will be harmed to the point it will take 5 years after their exit to recover. My son just started his 3rd semester at LSU... maybe my family is a curse.

But on the bright side we were good at basketball when I was there so maybe that is a good omen for Will Wade.

We just need a WR to steal a purse and hide in a bathroom now

Expectations were much much lower. Just wanted a bowl game and to beat Ole Miss.

Newsflash: That's EXACTLY where we're at today. We need to find three wins through the remaining schedule just to get eligible. Ole Miss is one of the maybes.

Sometimes, like when we lost to a bad Colorado State team, or Southern Miss in Tiger Stadium.

But that was 6 years duration. We’ve just got started!
