Just like last off season. Not healthy reading all the negative crap on here especially if you are in sales. But if you live in your parents basement, dormitory or just a lazy frick then you should not have any problems.

There has been a herculean effort to manage expectations of LSU fans under Orgeron. The national press had little confidence in the hire and LSU's predicted record and its pre-season ranking reflected those low expectations. Lots of media predictions of 5-7 losses.
Here, some adhered to the existing expectations of 10 wins for Orgeron to represent the same type performance as Les. Many here used the media predictions as their "expectations".
Nine wins this season, knowing what we know about the competition would be a disappointment. I think Les would have beaten both Florida and A&M. O gets credit for big UGA win.

I would rather not ever lose to aTm. Especially now that they are in the SEC!

That being said this season has exceeded my expectations after letting Canada go and hiring SE as OC. As it has played out it has certainly been exciting. Losing to Florida was a let down and then, of course, losing to Bama brought it all back down to Earth. So disappointed? yes. Huge disappointment? No. It doesn't ruin the season as a whole just what tier Bowl Game.

It has completely met my expectations that the offense would be a joke

Lets see, LSU is ranked #7 and A&M is UNRANKED. The #7 team losing to an unranked four loss team would absolutely be "shitting the bed

It’s always fun to be reminded how many idiots make up this fan base.

Hell Yes!!!!!

LSU has to take advantage of every opportunity to change the perception of the Tiger Football Program. The program is trying to become relevant again on the national championship scene. There is no room for failure if the program is to return to its position atop the mountain of college football, that it possessed a few years back. No room for error. The program has to return to the days of Miles early era when LSU won every big game and destroyed teams in bowl games. And of course we have to eventually beat Bama.

This game is a heat check on where LSU stands. As was the bowl game against Notre Dame last year when LSU had a chance to win 10 games. We failed the test last year. Can't afford to fail again this year if the program wants to reclaim its place among the elite of college football. The win against Georgia was a giant step in that direction and had an immediate positive impact on recruiting. The goose egg against Bama tarnished that win. The loss to underdog Florida didn't help the cause.

Winning the next two games is vitally important to LSU's brand and aspirations. All games are important when a program seeks to elevate itself to among the best in college football. Failure can't be an option. Win the next two games and reap the benefits of elevating the program. Recruiting will be directly impacted. Making excuses for losses will not get LSU where it wants to go.

“ still doesn’t do any”

Coaches don’t play the game. They teach others how to play the game. As such, they are more than a little responsible for what goes on in the game.

That must be a new concept for you.

I ageee and would even say that, based on where LSU is as a program, this game is more important than he Bama game.

That is not to say Bama isn’t a critical game and the benchmark for what LSU wants to be.

But given how far ahead they are right now, LSU can’t afford to fall behind the likes of aTm.

We didn't beat Bama. It's already a disappointment for me.

It would be a profound disappointment to see LSU lose this game, after what they've accomplished so far this season. Also the Rant and the SEC Rant will become INSUFFERABLE until next September.

Now if I only look at statistics I would be worried about this game, especially the part about A&M's 462 yd/game offense and only giving up 80 yds/game rushing. But, stats don't win games....the Aggies are 7-4 with losses to Auburn and Miss St and beating Arky by the same 24-17 margin as the Tigers. LSU should win this game IMHO.

As long as we won the bowl game, it would be an improvement over last year, so I couldn’t call that a huge disappointment.

That being said, if we lose, the nuclear melt here would be ridiculous.

Yer not jes' woofin. This board will become well-nigh irreadable for at least 10 months. Add to it the botched attempt to get Jimbo into the Tiger fold.

Boy, howdy.
