He’s trying to make this look like an important game and hyping Auburn to make a win against them look like an accomplishment (honestly, it is better than any win OSU or Clemson have so he has a point). He trying to back door into the playoffs.

First off, Saban is going to Saban. However, I do think there is an anti-Alabama gets another Mulligan sentiment amongst the college football powers that be this year. My point is this may not be the year to pander by saying such absurdities; it could backfire.
