Is “LSU’s defense is bad” a fashionable statement this week?

I know we started on the slow side, but the last two games have shown a pretty sizable improvement.

I’m not saying we’re world beaters or even DBU for that matter but we’re not the scrubs we were in week 1.

All the talking heads are saying we will get blown away by their receivers. Hope we shut that shite up quick.

It’s a fact.
Not a fad.
Let’s hope they play better today.

They haven’t been bad for 8 weeks though. Maybe half.

It’s a fairly honest assessment.

Here’s the thing, LSU’s defense is bad, but when I tune into a college football show, I expect to hear a little more insight. The talking heads simply saying LSU has a bad defense goes to show they really don’t have much more knowledge than the average fan.

D has been a lot better lately. Zy out hurts, Wingo too, but we aren’t lining up against Smith/Jeudy/Waddle/Ruggs tonight. These WRs aren’t better than FSU Coleman or Mizzou Burden, either. Stage is set for us to show up and win this game in a convincing manner and allow all the talking head conjecture of the past week to springboard us up the rankings. Geaux do it tigers!

The only games they’ve looked remotely competent were against really, really bad offenses.

Hell even Grambling moved the ball at will for part of that game.

Army’s RB1 averaged 5 yards a carry.

Don’t let decent games against bad teams fool you.

Statistically, they are not good. But they are improving every game starting with Mizzou.

The last 2 games we have played two of the worst offenses in all of college football. Alabama isn’t that. We also are down our best defensive lineman and best CB.

I hope it fires our defense up. We don’t need them to be perfect, we just need a few stops.
