They say that because they don't have to play us.

Below Michigan? About the same as Miami. Troll harder dick head.

I've been to Ohio plenty of times. Ohio has the most delusional college football fans in the country.

No they are not
Powerhouses are Bama, OSU and FSU. We are in the next tier of 20 or so teams

Miles last 5 years are better than Saban at LSU record wise

My opinion: LSU is on the same plane as Oklahoma and Miami. As a tier goes, I'd put us about there.
Above Clemson, Florida, UCLA and Stanford.
About the same as Florida State and Notre Dame...
Below Michigan, Alabama, USC and Ohio State.
I can't say I agree with how you place ALL the Teams, but you definitely got the right idea, it is what has happened after 1/9

You can thank Les for the downturn of opinion.
He won a championship and put us in another one. Blame him for the upturn as well

Also, I think most people are getting way tired of these recruits and what the recruiting process has turned into.

Disagree 100%. People don't outwardly admit it but nationwide, college football fans see LSU as the only real hope to dethrone and marginalize Alabama. It will happen and everyone knows it's coming soon.

Well, if "lately" means the last 3+ years under Miles then yes, we've underachieved with a shitload of NFL talent on our roster.
you using true freshman as a shitload of nfl talent is laughable.
Saban's 2001 and 2002 teams had jist as mich nfl talent and he lost 8 games in 2 years with a shitload of FUTURE nfl players.

This is the thought in the Midwest as well. In fact, many Big 12 people like LSU because of their defense, but always are confused why they cannot figure out how to throw the ball.

Les ran the program into the ground.

Stopped reading with "buddies from Ohio."

How many programs are calling Baton Rouge trying to get OOC games with the Tigers?

If we are only talking about recent memory (5 years)it goes...
Bama
Ohio st
FSU
Clemson
LSU
Auburn
If we are talking 10-15 years LSU is much higher. However, this is a Johnny come lately sport, so I'm thinking national perception would focus on the last 5-7 years or so.
Simple answer to the OP...yes, but barely. And still trending downward. Believe what you will, but hiring a dline coach with Is record doesn't help that downward perception on a national level. I know it doesn't matter on the field but still.

They can say what they want, but they don't want us on their schedule.
Posted on 8/25/17 at 5:52 am to CatsGoneWild
Uh yeah, LSU is definitely still a powerhouse in football. Have you seen the amount of talent LSU pumps out every year?
Posted on 8/25/17 at 6:16 am to CatsGoneWild
This didn't go as you hoped, overall, did it. It was obviously a troll effort with a rusty hook.
