Is LSU playing as well as anyone now?

I honestly think LSU is a top 5 team regardless of the record.

We are but, man, this is a brutal 3 game run coming up

We got a bye-week advantage at just the right time --- get Weeks back (hopefully) and be in optimal physical shape for Bama

Tops in the league in total offense and defense. I’d say so.

The strange thing is we don’t have a signature win. Would you believe our best win is either over Clemson or a handicapped miss state? We beat Bama and we inch to top 5-7 status.

Still think it's hard to see weeks coming back before Tennessee game and that only makes sense if we are still in playoff contention preferably having won the last 2.

No need to hedge. LSU lost 2 close road games against top 20 teams. Kentucky got lucky. Ole Miss was hyped and played out of their minds jn the first half. It was their Super Bowl, and Leavitt was still acclimating to the offense. They came down to earth in the 2nd half and we almost won. On a neutral field, we’d beat them. We just demolished Auburn that beat Georgia. We demolished a good miss state team. We demolished a good Clemson team. The computer rankings are much better than the human rankings, because the computers aren’t biased.
