I always feel there is this sense that he is a step down. I believe he could absolutely kill it. A few years ago this upcoming season was the year I told my kids look out for 2024. We are going to be real good.
I am all in on the Nuss bus I think he could be the best of all of them. LFG.

I don’t know about that, but he has a chance to be very good.

Sure it’s possible… But God forbid he throws two incomplete passes in the first half against USC. Knuckleheads with crazy expectations like you won’t know what to do with yourselves.

No I am not going on expectations. I have hesitations. I just think he is going to start at probably a stronger place than Burrow or Daniel’s when they first took that step at LSU. He can sling the ball. It will come down to mental focus for him. He also needs some receivers to emerge. Feel like he is kind of the Stafford mold of qb.

What's a step down? 3,500 yards, 30 TDs and 10 picks? Because there was a time not too long ago that would have been amongst the best seasons in LSU history. The odds are he won't win the Heisman. CBK has already said that the offense will lean on the running game much more, and we've lost 2 first round wide receivers. But I do think Nuss will still light it up this year.

Better than all of who?

If you mean the other QBs on the current roster, then yes.

If you mean the two Heisman QBs who respectively had two of the greatest statistical seasons in college football history, then put down the drink.

Who cares if he is the best. If he can be a great QB for two years while we continue to reload the depth of the roster on D. That would be 3 straight great QB’s after a long string of not so great. I will take it. He definitely seems ready to take the reigns. Will enjoy watching him grow and develop.
